    Thanks mate!
Here's a unit of early war gebirgsjäger I converted from various plastics.

Here's a unit of German infantry, an anti-tank rifle and a couple of extra pioneers. Some of them are converted to wear their zeltbahns as rain protection.
Ready in time for tomorrow's invasion of France.

Nicely done! Always nice to see some early war. I especially like the green in the uniform, much more interesting than the prevalent monotone grey that the movies always show.

    Re: mrtn's muddy puttees

Belated thanks guys, haven't been here a lot recently, what with my new job and everything.
Still, I got time to go to a Bolt Action tournament last month, which was a very nice experience. Everyone were good sports and fun to play, and I won best painted with my French.

Was inspired to fill their ranks a bit more, so I bought some LMGs for my foreign legion, and also some goumiers, all from Artizan Design. Since I didn't need the third LMG for the FFL I desided to convert it for the goumiers, and here is that. The head is from the Perry Ansar box.

Thanks sigur! Here are some more early war Germans, a mix of BTD and Warlord. Oh, and a tree I made from a piece broken off from the Christmas tree.

    Viva La Legion!

Before this log, I was not familiar with Goumiers. Thanks for the education!

Well, should I continue this thread or not? It's been royally screwed over by Photobucket...

Ohh, anyway, here are my latest WWII projects, a modular trench system and some Swedes, posted on my new(ish) blog:

The Swedes were converted from various plastics; five types of German, Japanese and Soviets.

Thanks mate. For some reason I'm back to hobbying, painting a tank and a couple of armoured cars at the moment, as well as converting more Swedes.

Oh, that armoured car looks class. Who made it? (the model I mean, not SchneiderCitroenPanhardetc. )

And yeah, we've all been royally screwed over by photobucket, haven't we. Surely the biggest **** move of the decade is what they pulled there.

Nice Swedish infantry, trench system and particularly good Automitrailleuse de Combat. Frenchies do know their way around style, don't they?

You might want to check out this if you'd like to restore your logs to their former glory. Something to drink, one or three evenings off and some good music, and you'll have it done in no time.
