Yes, I made a start on this in 2003/2004 IIRC when I worked in Runcorn. I went into town on my lunch break and found the Britannia Miniatures shop.On a whim I bought some SWAT miniatures and some criminals for them to oppose. After a couple more trips for reinforcements I ended up writing some rules and playing some games with club mates before putting everything into boxes and forgetting it all.

It wasn't until the Games and Gears battle boards kickstarter that I got back into it again and got everything painted properly. I now have loads of miniatures and scenery, the rules have been updated and improved but the irony is I'm still waiting for the boards which kicked the whole then off again.

    Cool.

I got some of my 20mm 1980s British Army of the Rhine from Britannia Miniatures. It's run by an excellently nice chap.

I set everything up for a play test game yesterday afternoon and I couldn't resist posing a few for the miniatures and taking some photos.

And here are some shots from the play test of "And Stay Down".

It has been a while since I have added any new miniatures to this project. I decided that the CCPD is a little underpowered as a force so I have added some assault rifles to their arsenal. These are lovely miniatures from Crooked Dice. Unfortunately the paint job is a bit rushed as I need them for a game I am running at the weekend.

The first officer's sculpt looks like a terrible cop stereotype! I approve.

Nice painting of the boys in blue.
