[40K] Middleweight Aod!! Entry Thread

Well here it is the very first AoD in the new AoD forum.

The AoD will begin in one week time, thus giving everyone time to create a character. There will be a limt of 20 entrents.

The points limit is 100pts.

The rules are no Harlequins and anything else that is deemed to beardy.

Well hope you all enjoy.

As a young man, he eagerly joined the Imperial Guard to help defend his fellow man against the ravages of the Xenos threat. He placed his utmost faith in the goodness and kindness of the Imperium, and that they would see him through. As such, he didn't ask any questions when they handed him a large pack with a ripcord, and told him to get as close as he could to the enemy. Al is hoping this will be his day to shine.

I'll be honest and say that I used Army Builder to create the following

Wyche Drachite Allarielle

Equipment:
Wyche Weapons - Enemies never count as having 2x CCW and if opponent's strength is less than 6, WS is halved.
Shadow Field - Counts as a 2+ invulnerable save. If the save is failed the Shadow Field is destroyed.
Hell Mask - Opponents must take a leadership check. If failed, opponents only hit on a 6+ in CC
Splinter Pistol - S3 AP5 Pistol 12" range
Agoniser - Wounds on a 4+ and negates armour saves.

Clearly, use the shadow field save against everything. I'll just have to rely on the dodge 4+ invulnerable in combat if it gets destroyed.

Refractor Field: 5+ Invulnable Save

Bionics: In the event of a character being killed roll a D6, on the roll of a 6 the model is stood back up with wound remaining.
