where did you get the tank commander from?
Flashheart: Mind if I use your phone? If word gets out that I'm missing, 500 girls will kill themselves. I wouldn't want them on my conscience, not when they ought to be on my face!

A combination of parts: head and left arm from Victoria Miniatures' Arcadian female Sergeant, torso from Curious Constructs' Colonial Empire Dress Uniform set, right arm from the FW DKoK tank commander and legs from the standard Citadel tank commander.

So, I finally got to work on some infantry today - a sergeant and two troopers. No lasguns yet, I want to paint the torsos first. Apologies for the crappy pictures.

    Finally, an update!

This is Joel. He's the first infantryman I've more-or-less finished, and will serve as a basic colour template for the rest.

    God, I hate painting infantry.

Finally, some infantry pictures! Sorry it's taken so long, my laptop is kaput and I'm having to borrow the girlfriend's.

Some are missing lasguns and arms. Once those are sorted, 1st Squad will be ready to roll...at least when their Chimera is finished.

And now for something completely different.

Got bored of making and painting infantry, so I got started on my next project...

Excellent combo of parts and color scheme on the infantry! Really gives them a unique style. Also impressive attention to detail on the tanks.

    Looking forward to seeing more.

Great use of multiple kits to get the look you imagined and make your Guard unique.

Apologies for the lack of updates.

Vendetta is coming along nicely, though it will still be a while before it is finished:

Well! It did take a while.

    Three years, more or less!

Anyway, I am finally in a position to do more modelling. So I got to work finishing the Vendetta.

    The results:

    Re: 202nd Jouran Dragoons

I'm keeping the tanks but it's back to the drawing board with the Guardsmen, I just wasn't satisfied with the way they turned out. In the intervening time Vic's expanded her range quite substantially so I'm going to make use of it!
