    Bootleg Legality

How legal are bootleg models? Such as amazon penthusia on the chopper? For tournament sake

Bootleg models have no use in the game, they are mainly for display but you can use them legally as HVT in your games.

I don't know of a single TO that wouldn't allow bootleg penny to be used as either the aleph version or a generic Kum biker.

Plus, Bootleg Penny is SUCH an awesome model, it'd be a shame not to allow it on the tabletop.

As for the other ones, if you're representing a similarly sized model, the fact that the silhouette system exists means the physical size of the models themselves is less important.

As with anything on the tournament scene, just ask your TO. A polite, well written and timely request before the event is the only way to be sure.

Bootleg Penny is still Penny on a bike, on a 55mm base. It's just an alternative model. She's "allowed" to be somewhat willful as her job is to pull Achilles' nuts out of the fire more often than not.

She is also a perfect use as a ABH on bike.

Never even thought of using them as HVT's. Good idea.

The Marghariba guard and lizard pilots DO serve a purpose (since you can dismount from the TAGs in game, and remount) - I use my Lizard pilot model now and then - not for any VP purpose, since if the TAG dies, they can't prevent the opponent scoring Vp for you. But to show dismounted pilot where needed (forcibly ejected or otherwise).
The O-yoroi and Tech-bee less so (those are definitely more pin-up collector/painter model).
