What's with the lack of instructions?

So I opened up my Cyris battle box and find a ton of parts. . . with absolute zero instructions.

    A little googling produce:
    http://privateerpress.com/community/...nsider-7-15-13
    Which is fine. I guess.

But why isn't there instructions IN THE BOX? This isn't some ten dollar toy I bought at kmart, this is a 50 dollar box of miniatures. Is this typical of privateer press or did I just get a bad box? They included plenty of other stuff. One of their little magazines. A nice cut sheet for gameplay. Stat cards.

    But no instructions.
So long Old World, you had a good run.

None of their stuff has instructions other than the few they have online (mostly for the bigger ones).

    Have fun

Same with my Skorne battlebox, no instructions. Thankfully they were easy to assemble(except the cyclops).
But I found the other stuff tend to have instructions printed on the box.

So they are intentionally being annoying, because its not like they're too cheap to put it in. They put in other stuff. I don't get it.

Some of the boxes have pictures of the models and how they go together but no there are no actual instructions. It is even worse for the blisters.

Most of the sculpts are fairly easy to figure out though. it's the ones that have a ton of pieces that are fun

They aren't really necessary at all. Certainly not unless you mix all the pieces together, rather than open one bag at a time.

Most of the joins on the plastic models are shaped sockets, so they only fit one place, one way. The few bits that have a simple tab/slot join (like the small arms on the mitigator and galvanizer) just need to be double checked with the model picture.

When I opened up my Cyriss Eradicators box, I was flabbergasted. But it’s actually fairly intuitive. I didn’t have trouble at all, it’s generally easy to figure out. Just try the pieces without glue first.

Even 40K I rarely used instructions except for vehicles.

Yup, I always assumed they don't bother with instructions since they are easy to put together.
