Lovely work once again. You have an amazing attention to detail and a great nack for putting random bits & bobs to good use.

That's what I'm going for, pleased it comes across.

I'm afraid I'm not really a Chaos guy, but there may be Eldar, Orks or Necrons at some point in the future. The next project on my list is Epic Guard with plenty of conversion.

Here's an annotated pic of the space station to show what's supposed to be what.

    A) Command Basilica
    B) Upper-class Spires
    C) Lance batteries
    D) Station central core
    E) Weapons batteries
    F) Primary docking pier
    G) Secondary docking pier
    H) Gas storage
    I) Subsidiary power generator
    J) Tertiary docking pier
    K) Main disk, residential and industrial districts
    L) Launch bays
    M) Tyrant class cruiser
    N) Imperial heavy transport
    O) Extension peers, further industrial facilities and 'low cost' residential districts
    P) Grain store

I love the fact you planned it all out, I think it gives the mini a cohesive look.

Hmm, I'm almost tempted to design a 'build your own station' bits bag, who am I kidding...I know I want to do that now!

I love what you've done there. One question - what's the structure in the unlabelled red box?

That would be awesome! I would be happy to help with details of what I did and with ideas if it would help.

Oops, missed one. Thanks for pointing it out.

It's a store for the most valuable commodity in the Imperium, grain! This one is for the station's population and is the same pattern as the storage containers on the heavy transport. The transport is bringing in food for the planet form a near-by agri-world, docking at the station for it to be shuttled down, while they make sure to acquire enough to keep their own population fed.

Hmm, I wonder if such a station would supply its own oxygen? I'd imagine yes, but would that mean it'd have separate oxygen farms, or are they part of all the other hab-components?

I guess they'd better keep a watchful eye for Tribbles!

May I ask you which letter type you used for the name scrolls, as I tried to find it in your thread but I couldn't. I really like the style of the letters and want to give your technique a go on my Baneblade.

    Thanks in advance

When GW inevitably reintroduced Battlefleet Gothic, I strongly, strongly recommend you apply for the miniature designer role.

Thanks D6damage, painting is in progress.

Boesoe, I used two different fonts, Old English Text MT for the capital letter and Bodoni MT Condensed for the lower case. I wanted ornate capitals, but Old English Text has lower case letters that looked too busy to my eye. Bodoni is simpler but uses very similar lines and I reckon they work well together. If you try it, I'd love to see your baneblade.

Thanks Inquisitor Engel! I can't deny that would be a lot of fun!

Thanks mate! will take a while till the Baneblade is at that stage as I'm a bit of a slow painter but I will certainly try to fit it somewhere on the vehicle

    Thanks again for the info,

    Boesoe
