That's a good start- 80 pieces in a short amount of time is a real challenge!

That is coming along great. I particularly like the ruins at the bottom of the 4th picture. Are those the Ruins of Osgiliath from GW?

    Codsticker:
Thanks . You are correct those are the Ruins of Osgoliath i had in my bitsbox for couple of years .

    Little Joe:
My friend does one batch - hills he has been doing for 2 years they should be finished this week or the next
He helped me with the undercoat and putting the sand on all of the terrain. He helps alot since it takes a long time to undercoat all of them.
Rest of the club members wanished when i started bilding all the terrain since they know ill ask them to help me out.

At the moment i dont put any extra detail on the terrain like dead marines end the rest of the xeno scum. Ill do that after the tournament

I make my stuff from left overs. Oil or Water Tanks, smoke stacks, etc. A lot of packaging makes for great buildings.

My go to fave is the Corrugated drain pipes. cut in half and you have a bunker a rhino can park.....a quick drybrush of metallic and its done in 5 min. Or add a base, walls, doors, vision slits, etc.

go to Thrift stores and you can find old childrens space toys to damage/modify for terrain.

    good luck

You design and built your own MDF buildings? You have a cutter?

Re: Building some terrain for the club

    Colonel Jacka:
Yes i bought a CNC laser cutter 2 years ago but never had much time to use it since company i work for sends me to other countries to work.
Had partners when i bought the machine but they turned out to be lazy GITZ who expected me to do all the work while the sat at home complaning how they dont have any work.
Plan was to start a MDF terrain company but didnt have anybody to rely on . Now i decided to work alone but it is going slowly since i have a commision painting studio ,running of the local gaming club, editing the videos for my youtube channel and work 12 hour shifts in the company i work - plus all the daily work around the house

I takes my about max 12 hours to design a terrain for cutting. Simpler designs take about 2-3 hours

Here are some finished terrain i done a month ago:
Older design the terrain is stackable

This i designed in less then an hour but after cutting had some modifications:

Wire trees with grinded and painted sponge . Trees are magnetised so can be removed during play

Some hirstart terrain made from the piramid mould . Friend made them then left to work in Ireland i finished them for him.

Here is a pic how it looks on the board.

And last some objective markers i made for my games.
The ork and the space wolf ones are mine the imperial fist was a commision .

    Sorry for the bad english

With the eldar terrain, looks like you might be able to upgrade the look with a pearlescent paint over the white...

Re: Building some terrain for the club

    Update time

Cut some modular buildings and undercoated them . There are about 50 of them. They are a part of a overgrown city board im planing to do .

Done some sandbag terrain . These were made using hirstarts mould. If anybody is planing to use sandbags for terrain or basses i highly recomend getting this mold

And cut some test pieces of a SF wall im working on:

Zemlod: The Dark Eldar terrain are my design and i cut them

Runesight Thanks. They are for sale and i can make alots since they are MDF

SotF Thanks for the idea ill will have to reserch that and find out where can i buy that paint

This weekend im planing to finish some the terrain that i have started.
In the works is a Dark Eldar Habitat - Still sorting some technical issues with its assembly

    Feedback is welcome

It's basically a pseudo-metallic white that tends to have the more pearl look in the end. It's a great craft paint option to have for Eldar terrain anyway.

Wow! Be sure to advertise them here, as soon as you ever decide to sell some of them!
