    Fat ork

    Hi everybody,
I want to share with you this project.
Following the orkish rule that the biggest you are the more dakka you can bring with you, my basic idea was to make a fat ork. I browsed a lot of bits and finally stumbled upon the river troll bodies. I haven't found any conversion of orks with this bit so I wasn't sure about the size comparison, but I guessed that it was fairly the size of an ogre body. So I purchased an ork head and ogre legs and arms. Unfortunately they resulted to be far too small with respect to the troll body so the only choice was to... sculpt them!
It took me forever but at the end I finished the sculpting. I am happy with the details and general anatomy but I don't kinda like the composition. Maybe I added too many things and too big to give him a good position, but now it's too late. Now it's time for basing and painting.
I was thinking about a street-type base. I have seen that cork may be suitable for it. Suggestions?

I think he looks great mate. It'd be good to see a scale shot next to a regular ork and a nob.

Yeah, I've heard of cork being used for tarmac...not used it myself though.

    Thank you guys!
Here is a (bad) photo of the fat ork compared with a kommando and a biker. I primed it so it is not clearly visible.

    Hi guys!
Here is the finished ork (still to be mounted). I'm working on the base now. I'd like to add a label with written "The biggest boys bring the biggest toys", as suggested by a forum user but I need a orkish spelling. how do I orkify this sentence?
