Conquest Games to release plastic medieval knights

Apparently announced last year, Conquest Games has released a picture of the painted contents of the box set.

    Picture and more info here.

Not bad, but not sure if they add much to the available Fireforge sets (haven't look at those too closely, but pretty much the same period if I'm not mistaken).
Weapons look better than in those kits (not as weirdly oversized), but the chainmail on these is incredibly poor - just a series of holes, rather than an attempt at links or anything.

These seem to be intended for the (later half) of 12th century, while the Fireforge sets seem to have been designed more with the 13th century in mind.

I like the Conquest Normans and I like the Fireforge men at Arms, but I was not so impressed with the Teutonic Knights mainly due to the models proportions.
The Teutonics have very un-heroic proportions with small waists and small hands.

I am not sure about these knights though. I like how unsophisticated they look and if the proportions are the same as the Normans I won't have a problem there, but the horses look very similar to the Norman horses.

They look to be the same plastic horses as the Norman kit. The grey, second from your left, maybe not though.

I'm not super thrilled about these models, but they do fill a gap in the current line up of Medievals, and the 12th C in general is one of my favorite periods...

Yeah, if they had some different horses I would be happier as then I could mix in some different horses among my Normans.
