    Da Desurt Squigs new ride

With da hummies getting all of dez shiny new tanks, wez also neez some of our own

So, found this OOP FW battlefortress on a well known site. Its missing some bits, but i think ill manage anyhow.....
This will be an on of thread as ill be working very sporadicaly on this beast.

Started to build one of the tracksides and came across two issues. Number 1, i will need to boil the trackbits to make them fit. no problems there.
Number 2, if i mount the tracks as the instructions say, they end up in the wrong direction IMO.

Here the tracks are mounted "the right way".

So now i need your help, fellow warseers. What should i do ?
Monut the tracks the right way" or as per the instructions ?

I would really like to hear your view on this. please.

    SDKFZ,

Are the sides not reversible? Could you not just take the left side and mount it on the right? Because if you swap them the larger wheels will be at the back on both sides. I think that was how I mounted mine.

    Cheers,

    CB

Re: Da Desurt Squigs new ride

After not having any time for my poor tanks at all, im back !

Have begun to put the front of the chassie together. This is a lot of parts that needs to fit together. On the actual FW model the parts fit without any big issues but as the chassie was missing from my kit i had to try to figure all of these measurements out (with some help from Captain Brown, cheers !) and make the FW bits fit with my homemade chassie.

Heres a (bad) picture of how the front looks atm.

Still need to work some more on it before im pleased with it but its moving in the right direction
