Tales from Dome 147: A Necromunda Plog.

So, I indulged and picked up Necromunda and all the associated bits I needed for it, including Gang War. I've made a fair amount of progress with the various pieces needed, particularly my custom Escher gang, the Dreddhold Furies.
I intend on adding lots of individual characters and scenario related pieces to my collection for Necromunda, many of which will be heavily converted. Pics of the gang in the following post........

    They look great DC147.

I picked up the starter and gang war at the weekend as well. Once again GW have made miniatures that are too intimidating for somebody with my eyesight to even know where to start with assembling them.

Thanks TEDS They are a bit fiddly, particularly the heads, they are so tiny and easy to drop and lose And painting wise I've had to try out pre shading the models simply so I don't miss any details due to how delicate some of them are.

I've also rustled up a Hired Gun using a spare Escher body. She's still very much WIP. I'm going with an industrial look to get away from the Escher aesthetic, since I took these pics I've trimmed down her boots and turned them into steel toe cap style safety boots.

Your 40K terrain looks good too. How big a table do play the new Necro on?

I like your mercenary she looks mean

I'd not really realised before but the new Necromunda weapons are BIG. I know the weapons of all GW mini are BIG but these seem to be more so; the pistol the merc is wielding would be way too end-heavy and some of those Goliath weapons wouldn't look out of place on the now out dated Ork boyz.

Thanks Standard scenarios require a 4ftx4ft table.

For the most part I agree. Though the mercs pistol is actually a trimmed down AM serpenta pistol with a cultists autogun tip fitted.

WIP of Juve Mei. All the upper parts aredone and dusted. I'm really happy with how she's turning out. The pre-shading and some new equipment has really helped push up the quality of my work in my opinion, so much neater and far smoother.

    Very nice DeathCat147.

So how do these models compare (size-wise) with the original metal ones?

    Cheers,

    CB

Yes I have tracked theses Gorgeous Girls down!!! Someone on YakTribe linked your instagram with these on, highlighting what could be done with the new kit. I had a vague ghost memory of your avatar from a long time ago, I seem to recall a kick **** Gold Empire wizard you were working on. After thinking Warseer was as dead as poor Averland I was at a loss as to as I could discover more about them. Then behold it lives!! And you're here!!! And so are the Dreddhold Furies!!!!

Your work with these is sublime my friend! The subtle conversions and strict adherence to natural poses makes them stand out from the crowd. Your leader and champion with sword are two of the Coolest looking Escher I've seen. Can't wait to see them painted. I hope you don't mind if I pinch certain ideas for my own gang?

    Keep this up!!!!!
