[BFG] What rules to download?

I used to play it. I still have the rulebook somewhere..

If I cant find it, what do I need to download to play? Basic, Advanced, and the fleets? Is the other stuff required? usefull?

What's the average fleet size in points for those who have planned a dream useable list.

We're aiming for 1500 points in the tale of 5 gamers thing.

List sizes for me seem to be naturally tiered.

When I dream about regular lists (lone capital ships and squadroned escorts), 1500-2000 points usually allows for all the doodads I want.

But the next level up is dreaming about fleets that squadron their cruisers. Those take up at least 4,000 points.
