orcs are always refered as Ork in german. only at wow these are orcs with a 'c'.

btw: normal elves are called Elfen in german... lotr elves are Elben...

I have to say that, other than Skarsnik and Gobbla, the new gobbo models haven't impressed me much yet. I do like the new Orc on the boar, though.

I like it. Orcs attack anytime (why do funerals in films always have rain????). I feel it looks like Orcs attacking when they feel like it (plus I'm not to keen on the current cover [far too stationary] so I welcome this new one).
And I agree with Der_Lex on the Skarnsik and warboss side, the models are good (but a couple of the goblin heroes also look good to me).
By the way Sleazy, Nagash is a Giant Dragon that has a Massively Swollen Skull, Enormous Tusks and X-Ray Vision with Strength: 11, Agility: 7 and Intelligence: 12. Ha, beat you on intelligence! I'm good at giant monster battles...

I'm going savage orcs for seventh ed but I'm a bit intrigued by the neat gobbo bits we've been seeing.

I have to say that, other than Skarsnik and Gobbla, the new gobbo models haven't impressed me much yet.

talking of Skarsnik: the rules can be read in the new german White Dwarf. didn't see the whole rules around so here's the translation:

Skarsnik M4 WS5 BS3 S4 T4 W6 I5 A4 LD8
Gobbla M- WS5 BS- S6 T- W- I4 A4 LD-

Skarsnik wears light armor and 'skarsniks spiessa'
unit strengh 3
fear from elves and hate on dwarfs

Skarsnik and Gobbla count as one model, they are to be removed together.

Gobblas attacks have the rule killing blow.

Sly plans: roll a d6 on any enemy unit. each unit you roll a 6 is not to be deployed with the rest of the army but comes into the game on the first turn of the player as if they pursued an enemy of the table.

Wicked traps: A night goblin unit that flees but manages to gather in the next turn is able to move around in the movement phase as normal and to shoot as normal - whilst always counting als moved.

'Skarsniks Spiessa' - bound spell (energy level 5)
counts as halberd
sends out bolts of pure waagh, a magic missile, range 24 inch, dealing a single S6 hit plus another S6 hit for each orc unit (size 10+) or goblin unit (size 20+) within 12 inch from 12 inch of Skarsnik. no armour saves allowed.


points not mentionned, neither are the amount of hero choices he needs. so the rumour that the special characters are listed as 'normal' choices seems to be correct.

My god that was funny. I love this place, no one gets mad about a little joking around, it's great.

On topic, I love the spider riders, I do wish they were a little less feral or savage looking though, night goblins would have looked better on them IMO. I also dig the night goblin bosses a lot, in fact so much so I'm thinking of waiting to start a goblin and orc army.
