I just remembered Altan had a bionic knee. Performance wise this means nothing at all, merely fluff. He got hit in the knee by a pulse rifle round, they saved his leg from the knee down and up, but the joint was obliterated.

Also, Altan is momentarily paralized from his jarring impact. Give him time, covering fire, and maybe a hand and he'll be right as rain.

Gradual depressureisation (long word cant spell it) wont suck someone out, rapid (omg a huge whole just appeared) depressureisation would. But seat belts etc would generally serve their function and keep you in your seat, while all the air would be sucked out and you'd need a mask..

*tries to remember where he said it was night* Oh well. Not to mention the automatic assumption of what you're up against: I stated that nobody could see the enemy yet for a reason...

The Commissar also ordered people to go to ground, not to stand about and shoot

    *Doesn't find it*

Heh. There just seems to be a general assumption that it's dark. I guess I should have made it more clear that it's early morning, so there's a fair amount of light, if not full daylight.

I think people assumed that because the couldn't see anything that it must be dark. *shrugs*
Mind you, early morning (just pre-dawn) in a jungle would be fairly dark imho, cause the Canopy would block a fair amount of light.

Saying that it's 0400 hours seemed a good indication of early in the morning to me...

@Mari: yes, I guess you're right. Bad GMing on my part. The reason you can't see them is because they're in thick treeline and wearing, as now stated, black armour.

@EmpChamp: I understand. Should have been clearer, my apologies.

It's not OOC, it's GM notes. Remember I'm not RPing in this.

@Ant, what clearing, now poor Edinte is walking between the trees looking for the Sentinel. I almost feel sorry for him.

Oh sorry i thought that GM notes are OOC because they cant beheard. And that you kept getting on Slaz's case about it.

They're not OOC because I'm not using a 'C' to begin with Grazvich is just there to keep you guys in order.

@Com X: Possibly the clearing you landed in...

Re: Behind Enemy Lines - Imperial Guard Spec-Ops RPG

    Hang on...
As I see it, there is Altan, Pip and a few others grouped in the clearing.

The other folks are scattered around the surrounding jungle, with one person on one side, another on another side of the clearing. The badies are charging in in a single group?

How do the characters not in the clearing all get knocked over? Especially those of us well behind the enemy firebase, such as Myself and the Enginseer? Are there bad guys charging away from the clearing as well?

I can't write a RP post until I get some more info on the situation.
