Is that a toothless Orc?
EDIT: Does anyone else think that the gold skull on the axe from the Orc on foot in the first picture looks kinda like a cow in this position?

The orc shamen models are really bad!!! Who figured a toothless orc was the way forward??!!
The goblins are cool though and I like the wolves....
Ergh... Nyoooo! Come back Kev! Maybe it's just the paintjobs (I'll reserve my true wrath until I've seen these in the flesh/plastic) but these things look worse than GW's fantasy tribes.... Somebody can't sculpt greenskins. Boars are nice though... Yesssss... Nice Boars....
they all look quite cool, i like the look of the orc warboss.. the savagery on him.. what concerns me though, is that I DO NOT SEE NEW MOUNTS.. and yes the position of the golden axe skull is like a cow :P
I LIKE them. I'll likely add a few into my current units. Always looking for more wolfs and boars, the riders too.![]()
That choppa just might be his hamburger maker![]()
I am therefore I think OR I think therefore I am?
uhm... the boar shaman is not a new one. look here
well... i like the models in a total - even though i would never paint the tooth flesh on the toothless shaman red! what I don't like are the wolf-heads and the goblin holding some head in his hand. I hate this posure on any model, that's why I don't have a grimgor here.
by the way: how do you cut of a head with a spear?![]()
There's never a reason to stop hitting someone with a chair.
GDYC!
The Goblin warbosses will be fine with a little bit of conversion simple arm/weapon swaps I think.
I too hate that waving a severed head around thing.
The Shamans are a total loss at least the old Orc Shaman is still such a great model.
I'm hoping Battlewagon bits supply the new orc character boar as a separate piece that or GW release new boars which is looking less likely with the new pictures coming out.

I agree to a degree about the old shaman models...
I have to say I am slightly underwhelmed by these, although the toothless shaman is growing on me...

Looks to be an ish line of models. I'll wait and see.
Scarlet Rue, Cassandra Cain, Luka Millfy, Toph Bei Fong, Molly Hayes, Megan Gwynn, Stephanie Brown
"Ohhh... this is how it all ends... Pond flirting with herself... true love at last."
My available short stories: The Ending Star and A Hunter of Auld Times
"It's a magical world, Hobbes ol' buddy... Let's go exploring!"
The toothless shaman is the only one I find interesting. Not the best quality, but at least a funny idea.
The other ones are crap.
Interesting models... definately prefer the last editions round of new characters (Grimgor especially)
Might investigate Rackham for their Orc shamans
What is in a name? An Ork by any other name would still see us as meat.
i like em, although the goblins are a bit boring...like the toothless orc alot
"Relish our changing forms, brothers, for they are gifts. Gifts so that we may better swim, may better hunt, may better feed..."
"Beneath the glassy surface is a world of gliding monsters"

Mooo! Yes, it does.Originally Posted by Arnizipal
The missing-tooth head for the plastic warlord is nicer than the helmeted one.
With the blister od mounted and foot Orc Shaman GW has commited the same crime as with the Night goblin shaman, first released separately and then in a twinpack blister with common goblin shaman (not available separately).
I agree with the toothless Orc Shaman being the best mini here.
Wolfrider warbosses are... ok. Not as good as some of the foot ones (at least wolfs got new heads - similar to the wolfrider bosses, but new)

Hmmm. The orc warboss plastic is more customisible than I thought, though the spear is a bit oddly posed and the head dosn't look good from certain angles.
I shall speak out in how much I love Ol' Gummy there.I have no intention of collecting O&G but he's one model I' definately getting. Seriosly, lighten up. Think of the battlefield-side jokes you can get out of this guy. The mounted shaman is the same as he was, a tad too serious but fair play to the sculpter for making a thoughtful looking ork.
As to mutterings of how the old shaman was so much better, that's fairly obvious. He was one of the best orc models. He's not going to be passed out by these guys.
The gobbos are alright. The one on the right is a bit dull but I quite like the chap on the left. Needs a back banner, mind you, to warboss him up a bit more.
Meh, never liked the new Orc Warboss, I already have three orc characters made from the regiment set anyway. TBH those pictures and the paint job don't reall flatter the model, in fact they make it look terrible.
The toothless Shaman is growing on me...
The mounted goblin bosses are okay, just okay. I think they will suffer being placed next to normal wolf riders, being smaller and less bulky afterall. The same goes for the foot heroes.
I like the new Orc Warbosses, and the Goblins ones are OK (although they honestly look more like bog-standard troops). I like the Shaman on foot, and can fully imagine a toothless Shaman gibbering to Gork and Mork.
Remember, also, that most of these models are (I think) plastic in a box set, so they're likely to be far more customisable than previously thought.
P.S. I swear that the boar head on the "old" mounted Shaman's Boar is a new piece. I've never seen it before on that, or any model, and it looks just like the heads on the new boars.
