next step on the painting of my salamander:
the green is done, and i start the inside.
and my command chimera, still very wip. now, i must fill all the gaps between the pieces, add a lot of details/equipment/... and start to paint.

This is a nice looking army, it looks as though you may have mis placed the left hand side skirt in the photo.
I think the skirts detract from the conversion, is there no other way to represent extra armour?
This looks great. I like gaurd armies done to a good standard like these. I wouldn't have the painting stamina to ever do a guard army like that. Keep up the good work mate.

I'm not sure if I said it before. But, I'll say it again- just in case I didn't. I really love that command Chimera!
I disagree with Erestor, I happen to like the side skirts. Even though I'm sure you could scratch build better.

sorry, for the moment, no pics of my IG.
with some friends i've started a new project : "infinity", a cyberpunk sci-fi game. the style is inspirated by mangas of masamune shirow "ghost in the shell" and "appleseed".
here is my exo-tank. i'm working on light effects and weathering.
this mini is nearly 60mm high (to the "eyes")
and i finish my salamander and my command chimera as soon as possible
I like Ghost in the Shell. I wasn't a big fan of the sequal that I watched recently be S.A.C. (or at least as much as I saw of it) was pretty good as well. I have heard of appleseed but no idea what it is (may have seen a trailer or poster at one point in my life or something). That looks pretty cool and the blue light is effective...many minitures I have seen with lightling effects that are similar use it way to much, imo, but that suits the mini. Good job so far, I can see a bit of Ghost in the Shell in that for sure. Cant wait for more guard.

for Reign in Blood (and the others), new stuff for my guard.
first, my command chimera. i must use greenstuff to fill the gaps and add some details, but it's on the way.
my second sentinel, equiped with multilaser:
my third sentinel, equiped with a lascanon (one more to come)
sorry for the bad pics, but i have a bas light this morning.
I love your IG Tancrede. Really well painted. The tanks are really realistic. Looking forward to seeing more.

I'm just glad that you're making progress on your IG. Any pictures are good pictures- and better than what I can take.
Lastly, that cyberpunk model looks amazing. Really well painted.

those sentinels are looking good. any new troops or tanks?
not really, mr ghostmaker. on the workdesk, i have 2 more infantry platoons, a few kasrkins, a heavy bolter platoon and another missile launcher platoon.
and, of course, my colonel (converted and painted) and his command squad.
but i'm on side projects for the moment...
ok, i'm back with a pic of my wip colonel. some people say it looks like me...
i don't know what they mean![]()
sorry for the bad pics, as always i've taked them this morning, with only natural light.
Wow, that colonel of your looks great. Very bad ass!
caput
That conversion is great- as is the paint job.
I know the model that it's based on. Did you thicken the body at all? Or, did you completely re-sculpt it? Only asking because he looks less "slim".

very nice conversions
@no-use:
yes, a friend of mine made this conversion for me. the body comes from the kasrkin sergent, but his torso was completely rescuplted to become "less slim", as you say. he add some weight, then he redoes all the carapace armor, give "me" a powerglove, a maccharius cross (on the left breast plate), and a boltpistol.
the head comes from forgeworld cadian sprue (and was rescuplted too add a little weight, some beard and glasses), some extra gear was attached to him and voila !![]()
now, i think i must do something for him.... maybe for his ultramarine army...
before you paint your sentials, a really cool conversion if your having an armoured compartment is to leave the sential door open and paint the inside so you can see the driver. Always wanted to do that.
but i've no armoured compartments left on my sentinels.
next tanks on the way: a hellhound, that i've found lost in a box. sadly painted, but i've rebuilt the turret to looks like artemia pattern hellhound fom fw.
and i must repaint my leman russ to fit my army.
pics will be posted as soon as possible.
a promised before, here is a pics of my hellhound turret. still some work to do on it: greenstuff (to fill the gaps) and resize the rivets (too high)
i hope to finish my hq squad this evening and post you pics in the coming days.
as promised, here are the pics of my hq squad
sorry for the second pic, a little bit yellowish. true colors on the first pic.
next minis: a commissar and a preacher (on the workdesk)
c&c welcome
