I love the really clean lines and crisp paintjob of the dreads. Whilst I'm personally not a fan of the model, you've made it look fantastic! Well done.

Thank you!

I use "The Army Painter" Black Primer spray, then Skeleton Bone spray to base coat, shade with GW Devlan Mud around rivets and in recesses etc. then clean up with GW Bleached bone.

Edit: I used Vallejo Liquid Acrylic Resin Varnish also to finish it all off...

Here's my dreadnought, from my Carcharodons army. Brother Vermis, in Ironclad Dreadnought armor, with close combat arm and chain fist.

Oooh that dread is real purdy! I love the blood and guts splashed everywhere, very convincingly pulled off. How did you make it look so chunky and shiny?

It's a mix of Tamiya Clear Red and Chaos Black. The Tamiya is acrylic, and if you use a stippling brush it becomes congealed and gory.

I really like the weathering on this Contemptor! It's very very easy to go OTT when applying weathering, and I think you've managed to hold off going too far.
