Blood Axes

Hello everybody,
I have just started a Blood axe ork clan army. Me and my brother have been working on the minis so here they are. The plan is to make each ork squad to be based after a imperial guard regiment, so like the cadians tallarn steel legion, the tanith. So here they are.(Sorry that some pics turned out a little fuzzy, I'll take clearer ones later)



This is what my warbikes are gonna be, making the orks ride the boars makes them more modeled of rough riders then bikes which I wanted.

I assume the orcs with headbands are catachans, not cadians. Cats are the rambo looking guard whereas cadians are those new chest armor wearing ones.

Otherwise brilliant idea, any reason in particular you aren't using the hats off of vostroyans or other regiments rather than trying to greenstuff a faximilie?

Look really good thus far... love the Mordian orks especially!
Can't wait to see the Steel Legion boyz... would like to see penal leigon orks and Tekarn orks (Iron fist regiment of samarai/Cadian design)

Any chance of a close up of the Mordian Hat? I want to do something similar for my Blood Axe Warboss.

Great idea; not really classic Blood Axey but very original. I'm looking forward to the Tallarn ones and of course painted minis.
