Who killed Ygethmor on Medusa V?

At the end of the campaign, after the defeat of the forces of Chaos, we still don't know what became the Deceiver and who was instructed by Abaddon to kill him.
We can read it on the Final Report :

With scant hours to spare, the Chaos Space Marines, and those other servants of Chaos who had the means, fled the planet and left utter devastation in their wake. A whole world lay blood-soaked and burning, torn apart by their brutal ministrations. Only Ygethmor, his coterie of bodyguards and acolytes, and those mutants and traitors unworthy of salvation, were left behind. The commanders of the Black Companies sent by Abaddon had very specific orders concerning the fate of Ygethmor: he was to be given every assistance, but if he failed, they were not to bring the sorcerer back with them.

So... which Chaos Lord Commander of the Black Legion killed Ygethmor?

As far as I can gather Elarique Swiftblade of Alaitoc beheaded him before being gunned down by his troops.

Oh ok! Thank you for this info, I have verified and that seems to be true.

Elarique painted the blood-rune of revenge upon her face and grimly set out to slay her nemesis. Armed with only her ancestral power sword, she cut her way through hundreds of Ygethmor’s lackeys in the catacombs beneath the Great Cathedral of Euryales. Elarique eventually found her quarry, and though she was almost instantly riddled with shots afterward, managed to cleave Ygethmor’s head from his shoulders. It is a great loss to the Eldar that her spirit stone should lay in the clutches of Ygethmor’s lieutenants, and her soul be taken by the Warp, but the price of vengeance is oft high.

So maybe we can think that some space marines (loyalists or renegades) came after the fight to note the death of Ygethmor and to kill those (Ygethmor's lieutenants) which had survived the battle.

BTW Lord Warlock, are you a Black Legion Commander?

As far as I understand, the faction reports, with Necrons and Tyranid as an exception, are from the races point of view, and the end-game stories 3rd person omniscient. To put it simply, it's god telling us that Elarique beheaded old Ygethmore.

How would you pronounce that? I'd say "Yuh-geth-more", "Yethmore" or "Gethmore".

Personally I say "Yuh-geth-more". I always try to pronounce as much as possible. I'm phonetically masochistic like that

Ygethmor's killer was Elarique Swiftblade, the Autarch of Alaitoc, an eldar yes but he's a female.
