This looks very interesting, and I'll be looking into starting to play Warmaster when they come out. The Rumour-Roundup thread for SG has been made, so I though I should post these here.
So, offendi, who else has any tidbits about this or are planning to start their own army in the Land of A Hundred and One Camels?

Anyone think this will lead to a warhammer fanatasy army? Or has anyone heard anything about that?

Either I’m missing something or the Warmaster deals are a total con. E.g. look at the High Elf deal:
2 Spearmen 120 points £12
2 Archers 150 points £12
1 Bolt Thrower 65 points £5

Cost of army deal £84 – ummm?!

But, but......it's Games Workshop toys!! I guess it could be prices for 2 as in two minies.....I think thats for bases of multiple figures.
That said.......bought seperately 78 Pounds as a "deal" 84......that says it all, no thank you (Gee, that means I'm "saved" from the clutchs of Warmaster)

Don't get me wrong, I like the look of Warmaster. Just doesn't seem that the army 'deals' are the best way to get into it.
