Cheers BLAZEXI, I shall be enjoying a night of music with the Maiden on December 12th at theNEC B'ham, rock out pardners!

Bulonicus - You need a LEMMY figure to complete this army. Its crying out for it. Love the rock-chick Daemonettes.

I've always wanted to do a metal-themed slaanesh army, but I don't have the skills for it. Great to see that someone has both the guts and the skills to do it.

Yay -- I've been waiting for an update. These are fantastic, well and truly living up to my hopes. I love the speaker "fluff" and its legs -- almost reminds me of Pratchett's luggage. Your color scheme is perfect too.

    ---

One thought, if anyone wants to make their own plasticard guitars:

When I want a long thin straight thing to use as a wire on a model, I heat a section of sprue (generally over a lighter or match) and gently pull* - as the sprue comes apart it makes a narrow string of plastic, and when it cools it's easy to cut. It's pretty easy to control the thickness of the string too, just by how much you pull.

I started out doing it to do the wires connecting wings on old biplane kits and suchlike, but found it works really well for things like radio antennae on miniatures. I'm certain it'd make for good guitar strings, and would probably be easier to work with than greenstuff.

    * I get best results doing it vertically, so gravity doesn't make the wire sag.

Wow, you need to put some booze bottles as combat drugs. Than you could say that this army Rocks, Drinks and (judgeing by Daemonettes and Rhino passangers) you know what else.

Obviously a bottle of Jack - for there is no more metal a drink known to exist.

Now, when are you going to do a Rob Halford version of Doomrider

Jagermeister is the drink of choice now. Higher ABV, I think.

Love this idea. Especially loving Eddie. Not going to the tour this year, but I can proudly say I saw them, for FREE, at Download 2003.

Jagermeister? Pah, Jager means nothing to me. If it wasnt supped in the back of tourbuses in '86 then it is too new-fangled to count :P How many band-homage shirts are there to Jager?

Love the idea, I especially like the fingers on the power fist armed champion, these are excellent conversions. One idea though, I saw a similar themed Slaanesh army a while ago. It had Elvis as it's commander, and a rhino with a walkman and speakers installed maybe you could put an ipod in a landraider, or something similar

fantastic army and great to see that someone has returned sonic blasters to what they should be - i tried myself for ages to figure out how to do it and this thread has given me the kick up the ass to do so myself. See you all at Earl's Court in December!

As for you Sanctus Mortis - how on earth did you get away without paying for download '03?! Great setlist - but the day was waaay to hot!

Strike while the iron is hot
Steel is strongest so say we all
And if we all were not brothers of metal would we fall? - NO! -
They tried to test our spirit
They tasted steel before we were done
Grinding their bones into the dust of the past
All blown away like a shot from a gun

    I love it!

The painting and freehand is delightful, and your guitar wielding marines bring back memories of old.

Makes me want to go and listen to some Bolt Thrower...!

Jagermeister for Industrial Might , not Metal Mayhem

Fantastic army you've got, absolutely loving the pics - even if that means waiting a week between doses! The speaker spawn is *******' awesome, as is the horned-powerfist and headbanging noise marine. Makes me want to go back and finish my plans for a KMFDM noise marine squad ...
