Welcome to my Eldar project log. I have just started this army and played a few games. I guess I will start off with a bit of fluff, a list, and a few pics.
Tir'sahras-'The Land of Shame'
The Craftworld known as Tir'sahras was one of the first of such vessels to flee the heart of the Eldar empire. At the time of the Fall its inhabitants were already far away from the region which would become the Eye of Terror and the psychic shockwave that accompanied the birth of the Great Enemy was almost as if a subtle echo to them. Perhaps, due to this, the Eldar of Tir'sahras did not take She Who Thirsts with the gravity that such an entity deserves. Shortly after the Fall, the Eldar of the Craftworld began to fall back into their old habits. As if they believed all crisis had been averted, the pleasure cults sprung up around the craft like rotten roses from some diseased corpse. Many of its citizens did not even know of the Path. If this had continued it is almost assured that the Craftworld would have destroyed itself. If not for the pilgrimage of Asurmen it probably would have. In blood and fire he and the first Dire Avengers purged their wayward kin, destroying the depraved. He founded three shrines before he left, but what was left behind was something very different to any other Eldar community. A stoic and sad people, the Eldar of Tir'sahras refer to their Craftworld as 'The Land of Shame'. The survivors never touched the ruins of the pleasure temples, thus the Craftworld is spotted with grim reminders of their greatest mistake.
Now, the Eldar of Tir'sahras are so entwined in the Eldar Path that almost none bar those on the Path of the Warrior will ever take up arms. In their forces you will see almost no Guardians, the artisans and poets to consumed in their own works of lament to do battle. Even the Seers resent wielding their Witchblades in anger, though they do so grudgingly. This also means that the Craftworld has a much larger number of Outcasts, as following the Path so strictly weighs heavy on the hearts of many. Sometimes the Outcasts are welcomed back into the community, but this is rare, thus the population of Tir'sahras is one of the smallest of all the Craftworlds.
Its seems that the Eldar of Tir'sahras feel they must repent for past indiscretions, as they have been voracious in their pursuit of the followers of Chaos, aswell as any fellow Eldar who they see as having fallen from the graces of fate. They have been known to seek out and destroy Eldar pirate fleets, no matter their loyalty. For this reason, as well as their past, they are greatly mistrusted by the other Craftworlds. Despite this, they do maintain the friendship of several Exodite worlds, whose dour attitudes seem to perfectly match those of Tir'sahras.
