BANE/SHADOW DAY 12

So the past few days (thrusday-sunday) i got about 7 hours of work in, (about 3.5 on shadowsword, 1 on baneblade 1, 2.5 on baneblade 2)

Shadowsword is finished with the exception of a few more bitz & green stuffing

Baneblade 1 is finished with the exception of the headlight & sponson bolters, painting @ aprox 8% done

Baneblade 2's hull is @ aprox 85% built, main turret is @ aprox 20% built, secondary weapons turrets are not started.

i was thinking as its slaneesh maybe, decible doom or something more sound (pun intended lol)

i dunno if i said it earlier, but i'm really not a fan of the colour scheme dude- i realise you want to keep it in theme with the rest of the slaanesh force, but it all looks very garrish

that said, you scratch built vehicles are magnificent. the main point of this post is to hail the brilliant construction of your tanks and titan

I am enourmosly impressed! when I read the thread title I thought, "yeah, well this will be gone and forgotten in a few days with poeple moaning for updates some time before it dies" but you really did it, and not just the titan, but 3 superheavies as well, and they all look really good too!
whats next down the drain?

@Bobert, i was thinking "WarStrider" for the titan name, its not very slaaneshi, but nice,simple & descriptive. I had a few ideas for the superheavies but wrote them down and lost em. Ill think on it some more today.

@Damokles what is next? Probabaly a platoon of Chaos Squats for my IG Army, and finish converting my basilisk. If i get back into the superheavy business in a few months it will probabaly be with scrratch building the malicor that just came out.

@Master Bait, i think garish is exactly what im going for and after looking up the defenition i think that it describes the emperor's children prefectly.

I just downloaded the templates. They are simple, elegant, and efficient. They even fit on 8.5x11 paper nicely. I think I will be making some templates from tracks, and barrels, and be on my way to add this to my paper AC.

Yes i saw it this morning and already mused over how cool it would be to have a 40K scale one. However it MAY be a little bit beyond what im willing to put into a model....

Maybe if it gets rules/fluff stuff in IA:6 then ill reconsider it.

maybe a better idea then would be a chaos thunderhawk transporter, maybe carrying a defiler? or one of the other titans, as there arent any reaver templates out there. keep up the great scratchbuilding, and in no time youll be getting commissions coming out of your ears! the bblade is looking fantastic, though perhaps a little crowded? please ignore 'bator and use that whacky slaaneshi scheme, as it looked great on the titan.

SHADOW/BANE DAY 21

So Here is the update on the baneblade #2, Battlewagon bitz was out of razorback heavy bolters so all my superheavies are still missing those. Did a fair amount of work on baneblade#2's turrets.


CHAOS SQUATS
Also here is a pic of my first 3 chaos squats. They are my first 3, of what will probabaly eventualy be a guard platoon and then some (so we will say end number will be 40).


OTHER NOTES
I Also got a little it more paint on baneblade #1 but didnt snap a picture. Current Schedual

-Finish plasticarding Baneblade #2.
-Green stuff baneblade #2 & Shadowsword.
-Finish a few chaos marines & Preditor for a megabattle coming up.
-(I will post list & pics of my megabattle army list)
-Get 25 squats up and running
-Convert Aquila Lander
-Get more squats up and running
-Adapt army to chaos codex

This list will probabaly take me thru september and thus to the new chaos codex, im not doing anything till it comes out, despite how solid the rumors seem. Also this list will probabaly change alot, but the first 4 items are pretty much set in stone.

Im aslo going to edit the first post to have a table of contents for this thread sense it has outgrown its original intent.
