WAY sexy. I'd love to see you take your GW-realism apporach to the hobby and do a fantasy army. I'm toying with weathering and such on my Chaos stuff, but I'm really struggling with the bases.

When I'm done with these skaven and dark elf armies I'm gonna run into the woods and never come back. And when I come back I'm gonna be the *********** knife master.

I like the "Do'H where did i leave my helmet? ah its on my head..." stance of the one shielding his face from the rocket launchings...

I ever noticed the helmets insigna before... The place over there is so small, how did you manage to paint them?
I really envy your talent.

Dammit Sheep! Now I am beginning to look at my Steel Legion and think their coats are too plain and they could really use a woodland theme.
Great work.

Oh man...I just Nebelwerfed myself...
Seriously, my jaw bone no longer works properly.
Awsome, nuff said.
Thanks everyone for the comments, i'm glad you all seem to like them as much as i do, though after posting the picutres i can see that i forgot to paint the lenses of the Nebs :-(
Thankyou, the rust is pretty easy; over the finished paint job of the equipment:
watered down Devlan mud
Beastial brown wash
and then watered down solar macharius orange
Hope that helps
Thanks mate, very subtle hint there, i almost missed itI love how everyone is making up stories for the loaders, makes me happy to think they work as mini dioramas
No offense mate, i agree they do lack equipment, but if i was running around with a battery the size of a toddler on my back i think i'd try and limit the amout of equipment i was lugging around too![]()
Plus in the list they are mounted, so could leave any non essenstial equipment in their chimera.
The insignia were just painted on first with Adeptus grey, then watered down white, and a 5/0 brush.
That would look awesome CB, you should so do that, or do them in a Fallschemjager (apologies to german speakers) camo scheme to go with your elysians.
I lol'd so hard when i read that mate, my favorite new word
Next up is the command squad, i just have to figure out what i am doing with them because i want something that looks like a field commander, not a REMF.

They look great painted! I'm going to do a similar thing with my renegades once I buy enough kits to get some spare parts.
The wall just adds something too. They look very gritty and brutal. I would love too see them on a well modeled table. it is hard to describe them in a way that does the models justice, but it is safe to say that they look so good I am truly in awe!
