I guess so, all I need to do is lose a errant unit. However people might complain.

Why not? It will also push you up to 1999 points instead of 1997. But seriously I would be careful of taking a 'flying circus'. I've seen some lists like this battered quite badly. Pegasi are quite fragile and can be panicked quite easily. I prefer just to run one unit that march blocks etc and prevents your opponant from fleeing from your charges.
