Krieg 37th Heavy Panzer Division. "S" company.

A big thankyou to everyone who supported the project, I thought It was highly successful and I achived alot(as you can see).
Part 2 (Amoured company) now starts on page 41

Well, Here we are at another one of my projects (i never seem to get things finished). I've deiced to give the good old death korps ago since I have a long summer ahead of me, (I live in the southern hemispere) and since they cost an arm and a leg, that should encourge me to finish this time. (i know i've said that before)

    So i have 2 options.

A mercahdised (sp?) force (probably the most likley)

    Or a siege Force.

I plan on maybe 2 platoons of DK, commands, Heavy weapons, Rough riders and maybe some storm troops if i have the money and the time left.

So far i've got, 2 squads (firing and advancing) , Autocannons (3) and the big heavy mortar with crew with more on the way. So i guess you wanna see some pics.

Well i worked all weekend and came up with the test scheme. Based of world war 1/2 german uniform. Still Work in Progress

Looks great so far, I'm trying to make a similar Krieg force (stormtrooper/grenadier mechanized force). I like the color scheme you have on that trooper, it looks really cool.

    I like the earthshaker

The colour scheme is pretty nice, I love the mud

Can't wait to see more of it.

Out of the mech and the seige, I'ld go seige (only because I've never seen one). I am slowly (on hold at the moment) making a mechanised cadian army. I love the mech :P

If you can put that much detail on all your vehicals I say go with that unless your old cadian army is a mech one. I agree with CHEAKY though, I've never seen a seige army though, that would be pretty cool but probebly not as good... Love the test model; very dirty, very lovely!
Inquisitor Konig: At Warhammer World they serve Bugman's Beer, but I don't think they brew it there...
Avatine Crusader: Well duh, they aren't actualy dwarfs.

Thanks for the comments, I'm really going for the dirty weathered look. The photos don't really capture the dirtness of the model. I've added more dirt to the front. as i said the model is still WIP.

I've assembled the next models on the painting rigg but i've run out of spray.

Toyed with my panzer, heres a better picture.

Also toyed with the idea of side skirts for my bassy.

Very cool. love the tankette, and the kreig will always look good. The mud on the base is especially cool.

Not such a fan of the basilisk though.

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers

    Sheep

Ps. the Panzer is looking awesome but theres just a little too much slackness in the tracks, if they were that slack it would lose them as soon as it turned a corner.

Omg keep up the nice colour scheme. The mud looks really good, did u use a glossy varnish or water effect?

Otherwise i'll have to check back later for the tankette and the brassy to be finished.

That looks really good. I'll echo the request for a mud tutorial. Your mud looks muddier than my mud.
And I'm also doing my Chimerae the same way! Now I won't have to ask whether it fits the WWI theme.

Re: Krieg 37th Panzer Division. -

well, I've been overwelmed with support. I'de just like to say a big

    THANK YOU

    to all.

First the mud is just plain Polyfilla those who know me probably realise i use it alot. shape how you desire and then paint. I've layed scorch b. Bestial B. and once finished apply PVA over the top. You usually need a few layer of PVA. Then gloss varnish over the top but i don't always go to that step.

@Codstick. 33rd is sold mate. Sorry. but how do you think i've affording all this expensive resin??? I'm still gonna paint the stormtroops that went with it so when i paint them i'll show them. SOrry.

    Thanks again

Re: Krieg 37th Panzer Division. -

I might put some mud on the bases of some of my marines. I will just use PVA cause of its glossy effect. I might also try polyfilla bit.

Keep up the hard work and i can't wait for some more pics.

The green is lots and i mean lots of Catachan green mix and layer/highlighted with camo green. The grey is layers codex/chaos.

Might of got ppl confused. The mud on the coat is tamyia wheatherine stick. and the mud on the base is polyfilla.
