Boyz those that have seen the nu dex, do you think a gunline army with orks could be?
Lootas are walking units of Autocanons, Flash gitz can do it very well and even countercharge only matter is their cost (to high) Boomguns are glorious, Shokk attack gun is super good, and boyz with shootas well they are not the best shooting unit but they can do a good job shooting and assaulting, Killa kanz with grotzookas are very juicy too and have BS3...Now da orks can shoot the enemy with lots of posibilities of wininig! what do you think about it??

Shooty Orks definitely look viable. Flash Gitz in a Wagon with Badrukk sound extremely deadly.
Personally I'm going for two armies: One will be a Stompa Mob, with triple Dreads and 6 Kans, and another Evil Sunz army with lots of Trukkboyz and Bikers.
samll thing, why bother wit the eavy armour on the nobs?
they're hidden in the unit, i guess it might come in handy for torrent of fire or if hes by him self, however either of those events prob mean the death of the unit anyhoo.

Good point. I think it is a psychological thing, more than anything else. If I give him armor, he will survive. Never mind the 30 ablative wounds around him, though.
I'm still ironing out my list, and there are a bunch of things I'm looking into changing. Another is the wartrakks. I upgraded them from the buggies 'cause I have the models. The only benefit they get from the trakks is a reroll of difficult terrain. Not really sure I would send them into that to begin with.
We'll see what happens when I start to trim away some of the extras that I don't really need.
Guys what do you think about the Looted wagon with the boomgun? is 105 points naked and tooled a bit (grot rigers ammo plates 2 shootas and 'ard case) 150 points for a 11 11 10 vehicle with a str 8 ap 3 ordinance large blast weapon and 6 str 5 ap 5 twin linked shoots, a lucky shot against the proper unit (those nasty black blood angels, that ugly eldar spider-pansees may do a good job. What do you think?

Eldar Skimmers can get in trouble. A grabbin' klaw can stop it from moving on a 4+... regardless of it moving fast, being a skimmer, or any other wargear. Now that's just nasty![]()
Thats my plan,
after dropping it's boyz into combat, the empty truck drives up to one of fast vehicles to hold it in place for my lootas, big guns etc.
I don't think the Shootas are worth it since you can't fire them and the Boomgun at the same time, and taking them as backup weapons probably isn't needed because with AV11 open-topped, if it's taking fire it's probably dead.
I'd go with a Boomgun, 'ard Case, and Armor Plates.

I'm waiting untill I've the codex in my hands before making any big decissions however if the points for the warboss and nob upgrades in squads remain the same I'm gonna be able to field 6 units of 27 boyz all with nobz with powerklawz & still have 104 points left over for special weapons for da boyz.
I think I'll end up fielding 6 units of 20 boyz and spend the extra points on Zagstrukks Vulcha boyz (I'm currently reconverting my current Zagstrukk) and some loota boyz.
Finally we can do a proppa orkie green tide of WWAAAGHH!!!

I'm more for twin Warp-Eads, 140 orks with klaw nobs and 45 burna boyz. That sounds fun, even if my hands bleed from touching 185 models 8 times during one game.

If I want to go for total cheese, I think three squads of 20 stormboyz, one led by Zaggstrukk, is a good start for any ork army.
Flash gitz aren't terribly more expensive than regular nobz, and are pretty 'ard -- especially when you give them a Doc. They come with 'eavy armor standard, and get FNP with the Doc. T4, 4+ save, FNP, 2 wounds? They're expensive, but they might very well have a role in my army... (That and I own 20 converted gitz, so I'll have to use them once in a while!)

My favourite power build right now is 3 squads of commandoes led by snikrot, 3 squads of storm boys led by zagstruck and add what ever else you want to taste.
The list that I'm currently undefeated with is:

15 kommandos led by Snikkrot
30 shootas, 1 nob w/ big choppa, 3 big shootas
30 sluggas, 1 nob w/ PK, 3 rokkits
30 sluggas, 1 nob w/ PK, 3 rokkits
30 grots, 3 runtherds w/ grot prods
15 stormboyz led by Zaggstrukk
It has plent of shooting, plenty of boyz, and some nasty suprises from Snikkrot, Zaggstrukk and their boyz. Lascannon happy beakie armies hate this list. Gunline armies hate it because of Snikkrots rules.

well i've been thinking seriously in the shooty-combat waagh! and the ideas i have are:
1 big mek with SAG, ' eavy armour, cibork body.
1 big mek with KFF,'eavy armour, cibork body, burna, attack squig.
2 mobs of 15 sluggas and claw nob (just to make the enemy no to reach my lines) with stikk bombs and boss pole.
10 shootas
10 Stormboyz with Zagstrukk
2 killa kans with grotzookas, grot riggers
1 Looted wagon with boomgun, 'ard case, grot rigers, plate armour.
6 nobs with 2 claws, 1 big choppa, painboy, eavy armour, cibork body.
3 bikers (just to engage danger enemy units) with power klaw nob.
61 models and 3 vehicles.

Personally I'll be using Trukk squads of 12, Shoota squads of 20, and Stormboy squads of 16-18. The Elite squads are best at 10, as 5 Orks are a guaranteed wipeout from one shooting phase and 15 is just asking for a juicy Rapid Fire to ruin your day. Plus at 10 you can stick them in a Wagon.
30 Boyz in one mob is just a bit unwieldy for me. Maybe 2-3 groups of 30 Sluggas in a footslog Snakebites army, but that's about it.
I was wondering if someone could post the effects of rolling doubles with the shock attack gun.
I'm not sure if it in the rules of the forum, if not do worry, wouldnt want to get anyone in trouble
