Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

    I'm in

    Grand Master Titus

    WS5
    BS5
    S4(6)
    T4
    W3
    I5
    A4
    Ld10
    Sv2+/5+I 4+ invunerable in HtH

    Weapons:
Nemis Force Weapon: Adds +2 strength to the user (in profile), if the grand master causes a wound he can take a psychic test and if past will kill his opponent out right

Storm Shield: A model with a storm shield may take a 4+ invunerable save in close combat instead of its normal Armor save. The save may only be used against one opponent per turn.

    Wargear:
Bionics: (not quite sure how the new ones work, perhaps someone can post it for me? Isn't something like if you lose a wound at the beginning of your next turn you can roll a D6 and if you get a 6 you regain that wound?)

Grimoire of true names: Daemons in base to base contact with the character equipped with this item halve their Weapon Skill (rounding down).

Master Crafted Weapon: May reroll one failed to hit per turn.

Sacred Incense: All Chaos medels involved in an assault with the model equipped with the Sacred Incense suffer -1 to their initiative.

    Special Rules:
The Aegis: Every time an enemy psyker uses a power that targets a grey knight sqaud or character and requires a psychic test, that unit can resist it by rolling a D6 and adding the highest leadershipvalue in the Grey Knight sqaud. The enemy psyker must roll equal to or highter on a D6 plus their own leaderrship characteristic to penetrate the grey knights' defenses. If they psyker rolls under the Grey Knights' total the poer fails. Minor psychic powers used by the enemy have no effect at all on grey knights.

    200pts

Appearance: Titus is wearing an ancient suit of tactical dreadnaught armor which has become bronze in color over the ages. He has grey knight iconography, in silver, all over his suit. He is adorned in white robes and carries a nemisis force weapon that glows blue, except for the lightning arcing through it.

    Finally, decent wargear options.

    Necron Lord 100pts
    Destroyer Body 30
    Phase Shifter 30
    Gaze of Flame 15
    Phylactery 10
    Warscythe 10

    WS 4
    BS 4
    S 5
    T 6
    I 4
    W 3
    A 3
    LD 10+
    Sv 3+

Destroyer Body: Lord count as a jetbike, toughness is counted as 6 for instant death purposes.
    Phase Shifter: 4+ Invulnerable
Gaze of Flame: Anyone charging the Lord loses all charge bonuses, also at -1 Leadership
    Phylactery: When attempting We'll Be Back, regains 1 wound on a 4+, 2 wounds on a 5+, and all 3 wounds on a 6+
Warscythe: Ignores all save in close combat, including invulnerable saves. Also grants 2d6 armor penetration against vehicles.

And of course We''ll be Back: May attempt to self repair when killed as long as the killing blow was not from a close combat attack tht ignores armor saves, or double toughness. (See modifications from Destroyer Body and Phylactery above.)

The Bipolar Bitch-Slapping Arms of Budapest.(Servo Arm) These arms took over 1 gadzookinzillion Malysian Slave children an entire month to make without overtime all for the sake of a Wal-mart discount sale, Partick can't fail (Plus the warranty wouldn't cover it)

Bachelor's Degree in Political Science (Scions of Mars). (May upgrade a Techmarine to a 3 wound Commander)

Breakdancing Mat: Allows Partick to gloat over the corspe of all those who oppose the NRA, beer, and the American Way (and pie)

    Total: 200

Stratedgy: Stand Still and Rapid Fire both Plasma Pistols as the rules say I can (Feel free for the explanation if you don't see how it works) Re-roll failed hit's with either the Signum or twin-linked or mastercrafting *combining all three if need be..*. "Hyve Fleet Caribdis is known to be an splinter fleet from Kraken. It seems the hyve mind has been nurturing Caribdis to fight on dense jungles, and the magos Biologis believe this is the reason for all Caribdis creatures to be highly specialised in close combat. To further support this point, the Caribdis Creatures present a wide range of green colours on their skins and carapaces. The horrid creature that can be seen on the pictorecords is a good example; all it´s biomorphs are designed for close combat and it´s skin mimics perfectly in the shadowy jungle. our recomendation is clear; the Tyrrens Niph sistem is at great danger and soon, if more troops are not diverted there, the Exterminatus will be mankind´s only answer."

    there it goes.

    "Combat drugs - 25 pts
*Ignore first wound taken (as long as it doesnt cause instant death), and after that has been used up,"
This doesn't get used up, the codex says Ignore the first wound taken THIS ASSUALT PHASE. Hence it can be used EVERY assualt phase.
    May want to re-think Instructions

I would suggest that those players who think that paper tanks are cheating or disrespecting the hobby should see if they can track down a copy of White Dwarf #132. - kelvingreen

Are you sure Scourging doesn't include the 'instead of making another shooting attack' line most ranged powers have?

Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

Heres a question which may well of come up before but I'm not sure Grey Knights have the special rule which results in Daemons having to roll a D6 for their charge distance - am I right in assuming this will not actually have any effect in the Arena or should it be noted? I'm just wondering as if it did have effect it *could* potentially allow a Grey Knight two rounds of shooting at such opponents :-s

  20. #60

Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

How could it? The official starting distance between the characters is 6" so even if the Deamon Prince rolls a 1, the 6" from the Grey Knight himself is more than enough to reach eachother.
