    Well, there's this.

    It's the old 3rd edition Q&A.

    It says...

    Q. How do items listed in the Cult armouries translate to the appropriate category in the main armoury?

    A. All count as Daemonic Gifts for the purposes of wargear limits except for psychic abilities (all minor powers and all Tzeentch-specific powers), which count as part of the psychic abilities and equipment list.

it even goes on to include thrall wizards and inferno bolts.

I actually think putting it up (the Q&A) on the website does more harm then good, as many of the Q & A are outdated.

It still refers to the tar...

But I suppose they feel alot of important things from this Q&A that were left out of the FAQ simply need to be up on the website.

They're right. But it it needs to be in a nice shiny new FAQ.

Yes indeed - thats the majior downfall of my character. If he doesn't kill a carny or any other Str 8 character in the first turn, he is going to be introduced to a world of pain.
The sword of hate is blunt and broken - but that is what makes it so dangerous. It rips, tears and destroys its target.
However, the sword of hate is so misshapen that it even hurts it own owner.

Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

Edited my charachter and description to this:

    Chaos Lord Jack: 60 pts

    Ws5 Bs5 S7(8) T5(4 for instakill) I5(6) W3 A5(6) Ld10 Sv3+/5+inv
(Note, Jack's profile changes drastically with combat drugs, see below)

Except for the saves, the second value given is the turn Jack charges, and the first value is for every turn after (not including the omcbat drugs).

Dark blade, + 2 Strength, included, and in any turn jack kills an enemy, take a ld test. If failed, jack takes a wound - 25 pts

    Combat Drugs, 25 pts

    * + 1 Weapon Skill if the enemy is Weapon Skill 5 or 6
    * + 1 Strength if the enemy has natural toughness 4 and is insta-killable, or from the first round onwards if the enemy has toughness 7, 8, or 9, or from the second round onwards if the enemy has toughness 6.
    * Ignore the first wound jack takes each round, unless it causes instant death.
    * In any turn where one or more of the above abilities are not used, use + 1 attack instead, but never use more than 3 powers. Eg, if Jack is facing an opponent of t6, for the first turn he would get +1 attack, + 1 weapon skill and ignore first wound, and every round after he would swap the extra attack to for more strength.
    * Each turn Jack uses combat drugs, roll 1dc per power. If a double is rolled, Jack takes an unsaveable wound, if a triple is rolled, Jack overdoses and dies outright.
    * Everything here is not included in the profile.

Furious Charge, +1 S and I on the charge, included - 15 pts
Mark Of (the glorious) Slaneesh, Fearless, enemy always strikes at - 1 initiative in combat - 10 pts
Daemonic Aura, 5+ inv save - 15 pts
Daemonic Strength, + 1 str, included, 10 pts
Daemonic Mutation, + 1 attack, included 15 pts
Daemonic Toughness, + 1 toughness, included 10 pts
Spiky Bits, reroll 1 missed attack in every close combat phase - 10 pts
    Bolt Pistol, 1 pt

    196 pts

Description: Jack is so close to daemon hood now, he can taste it on his thin lips. Entering into the most phsyically challenging arena of death is his way of taking that final step, and Jack hope's slaneesh will realise this. Jack worships the pleasure god, and takes the most pleasure in a good fight. In placing precise, deadly, yet incredibly fast and strong strokes with his jet black, dread inspiring daemon blade. Jack wears matt black armour with the edges of his armour and extremeties a bright pink that contrasts with his black armour and dazzles the senses. Jack is an ex-member of the emperors children legion, who has taken his own martial warband who enjoy most of all the art of war, in search of ever more dangerous warzones to gain glory for slaneesh. Jack is hoping that this Arena of Death will be the most enjoyable, and profitable yet.

Fighting for Clan Ursa Chaotica: Traitoris, and the for the greater glory of Slaneesh!. Raargh!

Edited the drugs a little. Damn drugs.

    Asmodeus, the Devil of Lechery.
    Daemon Prince of Slaanesh.
Fighting for Clan Ursa Chaotica - Subclan Norvegicus

    60 Chaos Lord
10 Mark of Slaanesh (Fearless, opponents' Initative are at -1)
10 Spiky Bits (Re-roll one failed To-hit roll each assault phase)
15 Demonic Aura (5+ Invulnerable save)
35 Daemonic Rune (Cannot be Instant-killed)
    15 Demonic Stature, (WS6, BS3, S5, T5, Monstrous Creature (ignores Armour saves))
    10 Demonic Strength (+1 S)
25 Dread Spear of Yearning (Dreadaxe, Demon Weapon, ignores Invunerable saves, wounds on, at least, 4+)
    15 Furious Charge (+1 S and I on charge)
1 Close Combat Weapon (+1 Attack)

    WS 6
    BS 3
    S 6 (7 on charge)
    T 5
    W 3
    I 5 (6 on charge)
    A 3 (+1 for CCWpn, +1 for charging)
    Ld 10
    Sv 3/5+

    196 points

Asmodeus appears as a halfway insubstantial aparition, with his lower abdomen and legs lost in hazy dark purple swirling robes decorated with golden chains, hooks and barbs. The robes are fastened with a softly glowing pink Rune of Slaanesh that'll flare when stopping a wounding blow from instant-killing him. Asmodeus carries a long-bladed spear shivering and groaning in his right hand. His left arm ends in a mass of pink tentacles.

Radical Ordo Malleus Inquisitor Lord Ĺkerfeldt
Fighting for the Clan of the Lone Wanderer

Ĺkerfeldt has been kept alive for the past five hundred years by dark magiks that he believes have been necissary in the banishment of all daemons. He persues daemons wherever they may be, destroying them without pause. He has allowed himself to be entered into this contest knowing that those corrupted by the daemonic are participating in a plentiful amount. Armed with weapons and powers best suited to their irradication, he has joined and hopes to spill their blood over the arena floor.

Inquisitor Lord Ĺkerfeldt - Daemon Hunters (45 pts)

    Ws: 5
    Bs: 5
    S: 3
    T: 3
    W: 3
    I: 5
    A: 3(4)
    Ld: 10
    Sv: 2+/5+

Equipment: The Daemon Slayer (30), Consecrated Scrolls (5), Power Sword (15), Grimoire of True Names (10), Wraith Armor (30).
    Upgrades: Familiar (6), Warrior (10), Sage (10).
Powers: Destroy Daemon (15), Scourging (20).

The Daemon Slayer: The Daemon Slayer is a black, corrupted blade once forged by the Eldar in ancient times to destroy the daemonic. Its true name has long since been forgotten in time, and its purity desicrated by the presence of the soul of a farseer, whos cries of agony have been blocked by Ĺkerfeldt and cause the daemonic intense pain. This is a typical close combat weapon, but against daemons, adds +D3 attacks on the charge, and wounds on a 2+. This weapon is based on the Blade of Phaedron, which brands the wearer as a radical Inquisitor and counts as a daemon weapon. It's also master crafted.

Power Sword: A back up weapon that has no material blade, and is simply a blade of energy. Ignores armor saves, adds +1 A in combination with the Daemon Slayer.

Consecrated Scrolls: Allows the bearer to cast one more psychic power. One use only.

Wraith Armor: The Wraith Armor was once light armored plates that has since been (forcfully) re-enforced with wraithbone by a bonesinger. It resonates with his mind, using his psychic potential to defend him. It counts as artificier armor and a refractor field.

Grimoire of True Names: Halves the Ws of daemons in b2b contact (And allows him to know the true name of Fluffball the Keeper of Secrets )

Destroy Daemon: On successful psychic test, allows you to re-roll to-hit and to-wound rolls against daemons.

Scourging: On successful psychic test, fires the following:

Rng: Dosn't matter Str: 5 Ap: 5 Type: Assault D6, Ignore Inv. saves

Familiar Upgrade: +1 I (Already in profile), allows you to purchase one more psychic power.

    Warrior Upgrade: +1 Ws.

    Sage Upgrade: +1 Bs

    Total: 196 pts

Strategy: Use consecrated scrolls to cast both psychic powers before charging into assault, using both weapons in combination at all times in close combat. If possible, cast destroy daemon each round (can't remember if rules would allow this). Try not to fall to mastery tests, try not to die from enemy, try not to fall on floor.

Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

I'm not sure it's smart to allow greater daemons. Summoning them and sacrificing a model to be able to use one is factored in when they gave them their points cost, and since clearly that doesn't apply here...oh well, it's not a big deal.

Models with plasma on bikes don't take wounds from overheats? Bikes are't actually vehicles AFAIK.

Re: [40K - Official] Super Heavyweight Entry Thread

They aren't under, because people load them up with the correct number of minor psychic powers to make them 200. I guess it's ok, but I STILL think the designers factored a sacrificed asp. champion into their cost when they made it.
