No matter! Whether I'll get to do the slicing or be the one to get the dicing, it'll prove most appetizing.

Either way. I promise not to do any more of these bad rhymes for a while. I'll go se about making an offering to the prince of pervertet extacy instead...

Sense alot of the match system needs revising and the Superheavy isn't going to start for at least a few more weeks is it ok to make changes to my character or is it too late...?

Well unless the round 1 draw is going to be redone... or you're one of those unlucky ones that somehow got left out of the fixture (like me somehow)
Then wouldn't you think that changing a character at this stage to be a bit... how do we say it, biased?

If for example I was using a wych lord with punisher, and yet my 1st round opponent was a t6+ beastie or something, I would be impelled to alter my kit out to an agoniser so as to push the odds in my favour.
This is the reason for not altering characters once round 1 fixtures are set.

Although if the fixture were going to be revised completely to include the 4 of us who're missing, then I would see no problem, just so long as your opponent was not going to be known until after your alterations.

    See my point?

And Dranshmont, you appear to be the king of altering characters, not to mention having illegal combos and such (the crucible of malediction on a skyboard or reaver for example). One moment it's a wych lord, next it's a necron lord, another moment it's something else... it's one thing to make a character rules legal, but to keep replacing it? It's the reason I only build characters based on rulebooks I have access to and check everything carefully.

Try sticking to a theme with your entries, gives you a chance to build up background for future AoDs and makes it easier for those of us who roll them to write the things.
But above all else, resist the impulse to alter a character once the matchups have been defined, someone could accuse you of cheating, and we wouldn't want that.
    Just a few friendly hints.

Actually I was gonna make my guy fluffier by adding his championship belt as thunder hammer and taking away the lighting claw, something actually more useful in reality considering I already get 2 free powerfist attacks... I just need to find a codex to get the points right...

Okay, everything done here? No more changes? As Anteus is away, I guess it falls to me to compile the document and assign matches to the rollers. Let's see... if I divide them evenly, thats... oh, carry the one... 32 for me. Wee.
