Dude you have some great stuff in here.
The Skaven army is super, it has a real dirty feel to it that I love and the theme is just great.
The Epic stuff is inspiring as well, I don't play but looking at your stuff makes me want to try it.

Unfortunately since my last post I haven't really managed to finish any of my projects (as in paint every model I own for them though many can be fielded as fully painted standard lists just with extra options that aren't finished). I have also taken over a wood elf army that a friend gave up on so increased my painting backlog rather than getting through it.
I have finally started work on my 6mm drop troopers so I can play my Navigator House Belisarius force for Epic.
These are my drop sentinels and support sentinels
One of my two drop trooper formations.
And the first Valkyrie that I have finished painting
The rest of the army is made up of some storm troopers in Valkyries and some Vultures.
I just found this thread, very nice! Love the skaven horde. Any upcoming beastmen pics?![]()

some great models , i love the lizards !
At some point the beastmen ended up becoming a legion of the lost and dammed 40K project and my next fantasy army became Wood Elves. The Greater Shaggoth is going to be a Greater Daemon of Khorne, Beastmen as Khornate Mutants, traitor guard and the half man half horse critters as rough riders with hunting lances.Originally Posted by mrtn

My first complete Elysian Formation
And a truly apocalyptic battle force, 6 Infantry formations with Ogryn backup, 2 Drop Trooper formations on either side, 2 Storm Trooper formations on the outside, snipers and rough riders on the round bases, Drop Sentinals, Support Sentinals and a heap of normal ones.
And after these guys have cleared out the dense urban terrain of our typical battlefields a titan legion to follow up.
Next step will be all the tanks
After painting another squad of Valkyries up I got side tracked as usual.
I painted up a Vampire for a game this weekend.
And started experimenting with some ideas for making an Epic Necron Monolith. The first prototype (the painted one) I am not happy with at all. The second prototype I am hoping to cast so the weapons and thing curving over the top will be added after casting.
I still doubt that it will look the part compared to some of the excellent scratch builds others have done but I guess it will pass.
Holy crap, that monolith looks good. What are you using for Necron warriors? Are you going the old school chaos androids, or something easier to get (and cheaper)?
VROOM! VROOM! CRASH! BOOM! BURN!
I actually have about two units worth of Chaos androids that I got for pretty much nothing but not enough for the army. I think I will end up proxying the infantry using DRM and some conversions.
Here is the inspiration for a lot of my ideas:http://www.tacticalwargames.net/cgi-...ST;f=70;t=6649
I am holding a BFG tournament in Perth next month (December 07 - tickets $15 from GW) so I have decided to build a 750pt BFG Ork fleet to go along with my space hulk I built a couple of years ago for a BFG mega battle.
Got the fleet assembled today so hopefully I will be able to get it all painted next weekend.
I am still slowly plodding away at my Navigator House Belisarius Guard
Just finished my mortar squad
I need ideas for what to do with the top of my barrels though. Have no idea what I am going to do with them at the moment.

Well done on all of it. Very nice hulk with accompanying fleet.

Love the Elysian Mortar units. Great work on the diorama element. All my Cadian HW teams are done like that too.
Since I am not allowed to get this http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/machvhb.htm I have had to go for a much smaller version.
I am finally in the process of painting the tanks for my imperial army so it should be finished completely soon. I stole and idea from E&C's cadian army for doing the Fortress of Arrogance in 6mm scale

I had a bit of a muck around so they are pictured during an ork ambush.

The Armageddon campaign would have been set back a little if this had happened

Wow, look at all this awesome stuff!
A quick run through of my favorites:
1) I love those Skaven over-seer guys on the platforms. It's a sweet idea.
2) The swarmy look of all your Skaven units. The slaves in particular are sweet! Can we get an army-wide picture?
3) EPIC!! Oh man, looking at your collection makes me want to bring out my old Epic forces and have a few games. The use of terrain bits really makes them look like their fighting on a battlefield.
4) Your Epic board is so *******' cool. More pictures!
5) Ork Fleet! Holy cow, I forgot just how bad-ass their fleets look. Big rock space-hulks are the best.
6) Those dinosaur things from the death world are adorable. I want to give them a hug. XD
Keep them coming, your collecting kicks ass!
Got some really nice stuff in this Log.
Especially liking the Epic and Bfg stuff, takes me back to when I first got into GW and started adeptus titanicus and Space Marine.
Those Elysian 40k guys are very nice, lovely urban bases and all lovely and dynamic with the bases too.
The Relentless, Indomitable, Unwavering march of the Death Guard.

This log is brilliant, your Epic forces are well...uhm....epic!
Elysians are great (well, Navigator House force...I take it you've been reading Bill Kings Space Wolves stuff?) and I used the same copper tubes for my bases to make barrels...
http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...objectives.jpg
I think I filled them with some cheap wall filler and then used sand/gravel at the top. The idea behind that objective is that it was a forward comm post, the barrels were supposed to be filled with rocks/rubble to form makeshift barricades. Could possibly work?
Keep up the great work!

Excellent! Definitely worth while its a fun game.EPIC!! Oh man, looking at your collection makes me want to bring out my old Epic forces and have a few games.
Cool objective Red Scorpion. After starting 40K with space wolves and reading the novels about them I had quite a few army ideas, the legion of the lost and dammed and various chaos armies have never ended up happening but I am really keen on getting my Navigator House Belisarius army idea onto the tabletop.
My Epic tank painting spree has continued and finally I can field fully painted imperial armies!
I took this shot because I was really happy with how the thunderbolts turned out.
And to celebrate getting enough guard painted to play with a fully painted army we played a fully painted game.
The armies
The Eldar also had some phenoix bombers not pictured here.
Some action shots of the game so far (we only got up to the end of turn two and ended up playing table tennis instead (epic gets confusing with too many drinks on a Friday night).
Turn 1. The pheonix bombers destroyed my recently commissioned death strike ICBMs with the first activation of the game, I would have fired the hydra gunners who failed to shoot them down if they hadn't been killed as well.
Both sides advanced with the Eldar concentrating on the North Flank and the Imperials moving up the south flank, concentrating firepower on some warp spiders who had tried to advance into the imperial town.
The imperial forces showed much more discipline, with all of the formations regrouping, whereas none of the Eldar formations managed to get rid of any blast markers.
Turn 2.
The Bane blades continued their advance up the road to save the poor villagers from the foul warp spiders and a large shootout started on the northern flank between the imperial guardsmen in the forest and several eldar formations hiding amongst a rocky outcropping.
My Leman Russ battle company seem to be having some sort of mechanical failure this game having failed to activate in both turns so far.
Luckily the eldar took a while to refuel their pheonix bombers otherwise they would have been sitting ducks.
Turn 3 - to follow tonight
I am getting close to finishing my Imperial Taskforce

thats quite a task force...perfect thing to accomplish your holiday shopping.
