Holiday shopping and Epic sounds like a perfect combination to me. I think one of my mates must have read that post and been inspired. They got me this so I could proxy an Ordinatus.

Hopefully now my heavy artillery should be able to lob something up in the air that even titans won't like.

These are Warmaster 10mm minis. I am using them in Epic since I figure that 10mm Daemons aren't to unrealistically big for 6mm humans. Daemons should be huge anyway..... right?

Warmaster has some awesome models in the daemon range. Especially some of the teznick (sp?) screamers and what not. Which is good because the Epic daemons are somewhat outdated at best.

My word, this is amazing... There's just too much here to comment on everything, so I'm just going to say WOW!!!

I especially like the Epic and BFG stuff... My my how much you have!! Makes me a bit jealous... Though not in a bad "I hate you" way!

Keep up, you have amazing stuff here!!!

If I may be so bold, more "battle" shots would be lovely. Your Epic scenery in particular looks so lovely, that I would love to see models of opposing forces fighting in it...

The whole Warmaster Daemon range is excellent! So much detail for 10mm miniatures!

Your terrain for epic is awesome; it looks like it could work for modern and WWII as well.

Re: Marks big mix of projects (lots of pics)

I have always been meaning to try some form of modern or WWII rules so I have tried to keep a lot of my terrain generic enough. Eventually I will get around to playing some form of Micro Armour but I am not really sure which games are good rules wise. I have a much better idea on the miniature manufacturers though!!!

I have painted up most of my cultist infantry now and all I have to do is a little work on the standard bearers. The standard bearer models were actually a lot of fun to make. The banner poles are from paper clips and the banners were make out of green stuff stuck on a plastic sheet then scraped off later to glue on the banner poles. I still have to paint all of the plague zombies (I am painting 18 in case I get lucky, using warmaster models) as well as a few mutants and big mutants.

I am also painting up units for my Nurgle black legion list at the same time, thus the titans, terminators and bikers. We are also planning on playing a couple of scenario type games that combine forces from both lists against combined marine/guard armies as well.

The vehicles in the back are going to count as land transports. The looked to small to carry two stands of infantry per vehicle so I put two per base. The still need some more painting on the canopies and windows to make them look better, but that will come after the rest of the army reaches tabletop standard.

Wow! I really like what you've done with the Nurgle Epic models there, that's something I would like to do in the future. What you've done is a great source of inspiration!

    Well done!

Re: Marks big mix of projects (lots of pics)

Cheers. Doing the Nurgle army has been a lot of fun. Hopefully I will get back into painting them again soon. At the moment they have disapeared in a box somewhere for moving house and painting blood bowl is distracting me from finishing unpacking my hobby stuff.

Thats it for regular players. All I have left to paint is a death roller then to do some basing.

Sounds good. I am always up for some Epic. Plenty of armies here for some games.

The Stumpy Stompers are pretty much finished.

Next up is some necromunda stuff untill a few minis I am doing for commission arrive.

Re: Marks big mix of projects (lots of pics)

I feel I have reached a resonable tabletop standard of painting now but I really want to push the envelope and start moving up into display standard on my models. I am looking for any tips, tricks, ideas, advice, parts of models that you don't like etc to push my standard up. I really want to increase my level of detailing, freehand, colour choice skin tones etc.

This is a conversion of an Esher model. Added the hair using greenstuff to one of the juve models. I am trying to avoid girly colours on the gang and go for more of a dark and dirty look.

And this is a closer shot of my Death Roller.

Re: Marks big mix of projects (lots of pics)

I am trying to slow down my painting and try and push up the standard a bit.

This is the next of my Esher gangers its currently very much a work in progress

I have been trying out increased layering, different color schemes and more battle damage and weathering. Not sure on what color to do the hair yet.

Any ideas, critisism, suggestions etc are more than welcome.

I have made some more progress. The harsh light of macro has shown me that I definitely need a lot more work on the rifle. Now that the basic scheme is down I would love ideas on what colour to use on the gloves and hair.

Any other comments and critisisms are welcome as always.

I am progressing slowly on the Esher gang but I am going to take a break and get back into painting some Epic stuff I need to do for a comission.
