I pretty much kept everything cheap to include lots of weapons, this was meant to vs Tank heavy army, w/ alot of transports.
I figured laz for heavy tanks, and plasma for rhinos, and melta for any Dreanoughts that wonder up. And a basilisk because it can kill anything that has to leave a rhino.

How do you think this list can fare? Im thinking Imperial guard will be a challege, but there tanks should be dead by turn 2.

Get some rhinos.

Also, drop the lascannons. Missile Launchers instead.

Definately go for those missile launchers. I'd also prefer if you have 3 squads of 2 rather than 2 squads of 4, make them harder to kill. Also those marines are going to find it very tough to reach the enemy with those meltaguns. Maybe infiltrate would be a good option with the plasmas advancing?

May I also suggest Daemonic talons and aura for your Lord. If your tank hunting they'll make a difference and free up some points for upgrades or extras.

I'd say that he is an infantry killer! With that many lascannons he has no need for extra anti-tank capabilities.

I played this list today against Black Templars, and by turn to all enemy armor was dead, so he had to walk at me, by the time he got there he had a Chaplin, and a assault squad, againts 50+ marines, and a Lord. It was a pretty good game.

Sounds like an easy win. Did he have lots of armour? Still, it must have been pretty boring. Sit and shoot tactics are pretty boring anyway.

He had to predator anilators, a Vindicator, a dreadnought, and Rhinos, I dont think he was expecting 60 marines.

And it was boring, but i uasully vs Imperial guard, which i will have to move to kill, so its not all sit and shoot.

Fair enough. He must've been pretty mad at trying to take out all of those marines. I know from experience how hard it gets.
