are they brethren bodies or veterans...or something else?
they look really cool.
SC
Hi there,
thy comments were all were more than kind
@schoolcormorant: thanks and yup, they are Veterans, had them lying around
![]()
@Zodiac: thanks to you too
@Voronwe: thanks & wait to be surprised- but only if you like Termies
@ss_cherubael: you should have seen the faces of my first victims
So you have seen my current army projects, which one should i finish first, 't is for a GT tournament with a lot of powergamers as far as i've heard the pre-heresy or the technoglogical Dragons - can't make my mind up
Well since there was no response, i will use the Space Sharks, they have more charakter IMO.
Just finished the last squad, it's the Sword Brethen, for my Crusaders.
That means only Land Raider, Dread and Rhino left, which i hope to complete next week.
so basically you are building everything then painting?
SC
Yes SC, contrary to your and & Spikeyjames way of painting i start painting only when all is build. I do batch painting, since i'm not so an acomplished painter as you are.![]()

I paint one colour throu all the Marines miniatures and only change to the next when all is done Normally i start the vehicles only when the Marines are finished. By doing this my army looks quite uniform on the battlefield and thus hides all my lack of talent.![]()
aww, shucks.... *kicks heel*
well, funnily enough, after Sicarius, and a chaplain i inted to build nearly all i have so that i can see.. what i have.
the thing is, its easier to paint things in bits so its often not worth building evrything for me.
SC
I know, everyone i know tells me that it's not to good a way to paint. Most do not even do squad painting, but paint every miniature as you do.
But by doing it my way, it works for me, as i would stop painting an army midway and change to the next project.![]()
Sure; I like terminators! Good sword brethren squad, by the way. As on the speed note; I finds it far easier and better to paint when everything is assembled.

Well Voronwe,
than i'll have to photograph them when i'm home, will be the end of next week.![]()
oh man, these conversions rawk!![]()
i love the knightly feel to this lot, exactly how marines (particularly the templars etc ) should look - really fits their ''zeal and courage etc'
keep it up, marko[dice0]
Thanks SC, and OT would you allow to quote you?: wow vimes, you keep doing it don't you.
Wouldn't do it without asking you
sure
SC
Thanks SC![]()
@Voronwe: since i depart only tomorrow here a teaser![]()

So to stop this necromancy here some further pics, as my better part doesn't want me to put together anything until monday so no land raider for the Crusaders.
More pics from my Black Dragons Terminators:
A special touch is the rat looking into the hole of the helmet on the ground

Got me some bretonian forgeworld bits for my Crusaders. The little dragons will be used to personalise my Black dragons vehicles
The best part is that the plates fit perfectly to the front of a rhino
Also got some bits to make a Space Sharks marker
As well as an octopus which i already converted with a bionic eye and antennas, the black spray was not well executed
Bought an alien model - Eldar Wraithlord - for the first time, since Gorkamorka. Want to convert it charging forward with the sword bihanded, like my Crusaders Champion of the Emperor.
C & C always welcomed
