Inquisitor Konig: At Warhammer World they serve Bugman's Beer, but I don't think they brew it there...
Avatine Crusader: Well duh, they aren't actualy dwarfs.

The arm I used for the Officers right arm is from the FW CRM arm sprue. It's the one that had the melta gun.
I got them all based and the Rough rider gas masks done as well.
I also finally started building the Baneblade.
The veterans and the officers look ridiculously great! Really nice to see you take even more steps up on the forgeworld stuff and converting everything to really make it your own. Nice work.
Permission to die sir!!

Thanks!
I got the baneblade built over the last couple of days. It's not 100% but pretty close.
I am going to make it commissariat take and have an enforcer driving it. I have a CRM manning the heavy stubber as well and I have removed all the imperial eagles and added chaos glyphs. I have magnatized the main guns and sponsoons as well so I can removed them if I wish. I need to add some battle damage and then it will be ready to be primed and painted.

Looks very nice, I know how annoying it is to remove all the Aquilla from a tank and those glyphs do a nice job taking their spot...
Question: why are the hull Heavy Bolters on upside down?

I took a scale pic to compare the different tanks side by side.
Here are some pics of the rough riders with he vet sgt. I gave him a hat too!

Here's a close up of the helmet I made. I know it's not much but I am new to green stuff.
I also started on a second demolisher tank. Got the tracks partially done last night.

I got the main protion of the heavy bolter nest completed last night. Still need s bit of work but it's coming along. Sadly I ran out of super glue so I need to get more but the local shop is also out.

Man you're constructing these tanks at a magical rate...

Well, I didn't like the way the first set of tracks turned out. I had made them too wide so I decided to redo them.
I also had to redo the main hull but it was worth it as it looks much better now.

Elotsip, do you have any pics of your models before the Kel's Magic Sauce is applied? I'm trying to synthesize an equivalent, but in order to do so I need to know how much change it makes.
Thanks a ton. Are the highlights drybrushed on or what? And do you use just one wash of the Kel's Magic Sauce, or several?

The highlights are a combination of dry brushing, wet brushing and some actual painting of details in small places.
Single coat of the magic sauce.
wow
keep up the good work
the converstions for the vehicals are spectacular
One Day i will eventually get round to a painting blog....
Imperial Guard - W4/D1/L1
To be honest I don't have a set way of doing them. It just depends on the model. I base coat the cloth and then wet brush up several shades and then go back and paint some of the edges or dry brush some raised edges. On the green parts I dry brush lighter shades of green and then paint a rotting flesh highlight and add some lines. I purposefully try to make them look messy and not all the same to give them the rag tag feel. I realize that probably isn't all that useful though.
