These guys look excellent. Your GS work is great. I'm looking forward to the final product.

Great work as ever, Kruzkal!
Not wishing to derail or detract from this excellent project, but . . . they do say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Grip my increasingly valuable spigot!
Hopefully I'm not behing the ball on this one, but I'm the others in saying go for the loincloth...they look great.
I have decided to make my own gutplates because the OK ones are too thick and sticks out. Note that I have also sliced off a thick layer of the Ogre's belly so he looks much more lean.
Done 2 gutplates that I am happy with so far. Also started to add scales and spikes on the front legs.

Nice, very good! The dieting has worked on the bellies, and those gutplates look good as well.
These are really coming together; great work!
Looks really good.. But you do need to add the loincloth right dont you think?
Oh and you mentioned something about carnosaur, and bloodthirster?
Wouldnt a Giant and a Carnosaur be EVEN better?!![]()
I have done 3 gutplates now and am doing the scales on the second Dragon Ogre.
I am doing the the scales and spines before I do the loincloths and shoulder pads as they will get in the way if I them the other way round.

I'm really liking the progress and I feel that shaving off the extra "flag" was an awesome idea along with the smaller gut plates. Gives them a more lean and muscular feel that just a bunch of fattys
Your GS work is incredible. I know it might sound wierd but those gut plates are my favourite thing! (the rest is awesome too, it's just that they completely change the models). Are you going to sculpt hair coming out from under the back of the helmets? I think that would be a nice touch, maybe even a pony tail on one?
I for one cannot wait to see these completed and painted!
All four gutplates are done. All the scales on the lower bodies are done. Just finished the first scaly back. Yet to do spiky bits.
Might look like it has too many scales if just looking at the back. A side view shows better proportions.

Bloody amazing, the only suggestion i can make is about the man-boobs, now the ogre body isn't as fat looking they look like lady-boobs, sorry if this has been addressed earlier, are you planning on leaving them as are or planning some kind of reduction?
I miss Chris Farley.
What to say that I haven't said already? Great work, really great.
I look forward to seeing more![]()
These are looking mighty sexy, I look forward to seeing one of them painted.
Keep up the good work!

Hmm... the pose (and then especially the front legs) seems a bit odd to me. Don't know really why, but it doesn't seem 100% natural, mainly with the one that has both his front legs raised.
For the rest, very good job though, and your green stuffing looks just simpy awesome!
... oh god, too many pretty pictures :O
The man-boob issue is not as obvious once the heads go on.
Considering this is my first project in 6 years, yea I am pretty old school. The gutplate of the hammer one is actually from the pic in BoC book. The others are based on that style. Basically I am trying to get a more slick look than the heavy cumbersome look.
Spikes go on elbows and spine of the lower body. I am still debating whether to add spikes to the spine of the upper body too as I have yet to figure out how to do the part where the torso and lower body meet.
Thanks for all input![]()

Since they are chaotic beasts, spikes galore are always nice. Despite this comment, if they are loyal to any specific god besides Khorne, spikes can look like over-kill.... so I guess its very discretionary. Despite this, these guys look awesome... I hope my GS work looks like this.
Man these dragon ogres are sweet, I can't wait to see 'em finished. Then you can start worrying about painting them!![]()
Ernie Kaltenbrunner: What the hell are in those bags?
Burt Wilson: ...Rabid weasels.
Ernie Kaltenbrunner: What? What the hell are you doing with a bunch of rabid weasels?
Burt Wilson: That's what I was trying to explain to you here, Ernie; they came in as part of a shipment. Of course, they weren't supposed to be rabid
