I'm very glad the deadline has been pushed back, I got hit with quite a headcold on monday, which has made my work quite slow. Plus, my mail order came in today! I got a bunch of old bolters, and some night lords shoulder pads!
Might go start a project log, got a few WIP pics.
So what is the current state of this project (In terms of who is doing what, whats the new deadine and what is actually due at that deadline)?

Well, I would love to do Pre Heresy Death Guard, but I would want to use the Chaos codex to do so. T4 Death Guard just ain't right. I would simply stay away from Demonic Gifts and units.

@ Peril: if you were to use the chaos codex, you would be (afaik) the only one using it. Were Death Guard even physically different to other sm chapters in the time before the heresy?
There are several instances in the fluff about the DG being able to survive in atmospheres that would down other Marines. I don't know how you would necessarily want that to translate. I am not sure why the regular codex is the one to use (the Chaos codex is pretty accurate for a pre heresy force, though I suppose there is nothing wrong with the regular Marine codex).
