The wait is nowhere near over.
That picture of the single Forth model has been floating around since last august. No Pictures of the Skinnies models, even though they're in the first wave. No Pictures of the 2nd Forth model.
Given Mongoose's history with screwing up tabletop game releases, It's hardly appropriate to say the wait is over. Heck for BF:EVO, the wait has apparently just started once again (nothing until April, I've heard?).

bleh. i have the minis. now i have the rules(wel,yeah, i'm an exo player), for me it's halfway there
(course i'll be buying the prepainted ones, as they are plastic*and hopefully will have more detail than the metal ones on the weapon barrels*,and since i just hate metal minis)

Okay, maybe the title is an exageration, but it's been a real long time since we've had any kind of major sneak peaks for SST: EVO.
I sincerely doubt the plastics will be more detailed then the metal minis.
And from the sounds of it, the Exo suits are much less effective now, and can't be used in the prior configurations.
Plus, based on the BF:E minis, I'm guessing SST evo won't hold to the same price per box for the unpainted alternates.

they were the Borken unit of sst,so nerfing them a bit makes sense. as for the configurations-there were only two good configs-2xsixgun or 2xfirestorm.anything elese was ineffective compared to that.it'd be a bit like taking shotguns from IG wargear-since noone's using it anyway, why bother to waste printspace?
as for more details-i'm pretty suire that the placics won't have the abominable amount of flash on the minis like the metals did, and that the barrel details on sixguns won't be overflown with flashmetal, so they'll have more details

Good to see Mongoose has got its act together, its been, what, a year since the Forth pic was leaked? Evo sounds good, but i'm annoyed by the pre painting (don't want to start that argument again)

I'm very excited... detail on the LAMI is VERY good, just a couple of 'monkey faces' there.
And the prepaints save me a lot of time and I can focus on designing an army for once, not painting (maybe repainting a few into the classic Welsh Borders from Zulu colour scheme...)
Meh, MI armies will be easy...
Now FORTH armies... they're gonna be tough to make the perfect army because everything is so useful in its own way.
