DAY 1 - 07:00
Evening
Like many people my age, I stupidly chose the root of University, and the temptation of a fat loan in the bank was too tempting, like some wicked temptress. At the same time I was introduced to subway... of which theres three in Preston. And then I got a lady. And then I wrote a 30 minute film. Suffice to say I'm broke...
So imagine my sheer joy when a member on this forum saw my ad in my sig and came with an offer that I eggerly (read hungrily) took up.
A land raider crusader in the Guardians of the Covenant color scheme from the new Dark Angels codex. If I finish it by the end of this month I get a bonus, fail, and I get laughed out of the project logs like some poor monkey without a hat.
So, here we have the obligatory damn right required shot of the work space (newly revamped, and designed for increased productivity! The grey box is full of bretonnian comissions. Please ignore the stack of music - the computer has a habit of dying and then forgetting my music...)
Oh and incase I forget to work or need instructions....
And heres my first dabblings with the kit. In all honesty I was stunned by the size of the ******* thing. It has physical pressence. The engine for example is not only stupidly detailed but will easily require the same amount as for a pair of marines, as will the power plant on the back - and we havent even begun to discuss the hull!
So guys and gals, I want encouragement, comments, mars bars. Especially mars bars.
First up is the interior - I'm going for cream for two reasons. Using metalics would be too dark and too samey (the tanks metalic already), and a cream interior lets me show off all the funky detail inside.
The only question now is whether to go to film philosophy and sit through some horrid nightmarish John-Luc Goddard film, or stay here, play toy soldiers and get a few hours sleep...

The coolness tends to follow him around.
