I just ordered the last of my Khador and can't get over how reasonably priced it is.
Posted for anyone else in the UK paying through the nose.

www.cortexsmuggler.com may beat it. It's American, but I got my delivery of $380 worth of models sent to NZ within a week and a half for a total cost of $220. Of course, I don't know how hard y'all get hit by customs fees in the UK.

Well, I'm going to support my local hobby retailer. No postage costs for a start. Ebay and Amazon are totally killing off small gaming stores with their reduced prices and Amazon keep selling stuff early (Very naughty) so small stores end up having to charge more to make their money back.
My local store gives a discount to club members and is a lot closer. If a product isn't in stock then they will order it in which doesn't take much longer than if you ordered online.
True, but even with my 'special' discount, this is still better.
Except it's not a store that is bricks and mortar and that would order you in other stuff.
An online store won't do much to try and push any game at all to new customers.

Hey up! That is my local model shop! He charges that low in store as well. Dan is pretty cool, will talk your ear off but will order you anything.
His actual brick and mortar shop is in Bedworth on what I guess is the main street (leicster road I think). I believe he also runs the Bedworth gaming group which has about 60 regular members all over 16 on a tuesday evening. He will also play you in store at just about anything he sells from magic to FOW to 40k to UW to Warmachine and pokemon
oh, so very very wrong![]()

i bought stuff from RaMJ and they took ages to come : (#, they dont allways physicly have the stuff there which is why you have to wait for them to get the stock in, i go to other places you might pay an extra pound but at least i know ill get them in a couple of days and not nearly 2 weeks
Pay more get it early, or pay less and wait a while.
I can wait. I have stuff to paint.
Yeah, as long as it actually turns up, I don't care how long it takes.
Thanks for the heads up, Darkseer
One question though - what are their combined postage charges like? If I'm paying £1.50 per blister postage, it's not looking like such a good deal.
Try arcaneminiatures.co.uk
I get all my PP/Rackham stuff from them. It's 10% off plus free postage in the UK plus they do some kinda loyalty points scheme too. I've had only good experiences with them so far
Damn my morals. Arcaneminiatures does appear to be cheaper than my local gaming store...Maybe if I buy all my RPG books from my local store I can justify getting models cheaper elsewhere...
Just got my package from the post office and yep it is the models. Not bad, will be using arcane miniatures again.
It does look as though it is a bricks and mortar store as well if that helps
Excellent. I think I may give Arcane Miniatures a try. Thanks guys. Warseer is so handy for useful info.
another place which is pretty good is www.cross-swords.co.uk
I ordered off there and it came pretty quickly. Postage is very cheap, and it is bricks and mortar as well, so I don't feel so bad
WarGameStore keeps the full Warmachine and Hordes range in stock for same despatch, from a bricks and mortar store close to Chester and Liverpool (J4 M53)
Also do free shipping on orders over £10. Will generally arrive quicker than anyone else because orders are picked from shop stock and not ordered in.
Complete range, for completists, includes Extreme sculpts![]()
Visit Brimstage Forge, www.brimstageforge.co.uk 1 mile from J4 M53 between Liverpool & Chester or 10% off Warhammer & 40K, Warmachine, Hordes, Malifaux & Flames Of War at www.wargamestore.com, Free Delivery and same day despatch.

Very reasoably prices and my god is the service top notch! The royal mail lost a mail bag so a bunch of people didnt get their things, when i asked about it they offered me a full refund and some cool scenic base (micro art studios) free of charge.
I ended up waiting for them to get the item back in stock (one week) then it was sent out to me next day delivery (along with the bases)
Cannot say enough good things about these guys.
