    @Math Mathonwy :
    Yep, the Pope play Helldorado, but only the Deamons !^^

    @Harry :
    Thanks, man

    And here are some news :
    - 8 more spearmen :

    - the whole unit, on the good way to be finished before the start of the campaign with my friends in 2 weeks :

    - an imperial hero I bought nearly 20 years ago and repainted to my current gaming standard to join my Ostermarkers (and be assured I have tons of vintage goodness in the boxes filling my workspace ! ^^ ):

    As always, C&C welcome !

    Really good job! Your painting is superb and the colors work so nicely together, along with the basing.
    Impressive free hand on the imperial heros shield

    Wow Tancred, been far too long sice I've been on this site so just had a great 45minutes looking through this thread and catching up with your work... still setting the standards of excellence I see

    Think my particular faves are the Truthsayer and the Grail Relequi but that's closely follwed by just everything else..sheer brilliance without exception... can't wait to see more

    It's kindda pointless to say how cool the painting is, now, so instead I'll say that imperial hero mini is awesome! There

    Thanks for comments, guys !

    An as a good news for all the fans of my Ostermarkers, the spears regiment is now done (minus the movement tray, as I want to do all the trays at the same time) :

    And here's a little pic of the landship's crew, on the good way to be done soon...

    So stay tuned, as I have more imperial stuff coming soon ! ^^

    Re: tancrede's bretonnian log

    Wow.... such a breathtaking unit! I don't know where to start as there are so many things I love about this group. The look of the unit is very nice as the front ranks are prepared to strike while the ranks further back are carrying their spears - a very nice detail and it makes the unit less monotone. The freehand on the shields are a subtle yet great detail which adds to empire atmosphere that these guys just ooze of The standard is also top notch (you freehand never sizes to amaze me)

    The landship is going to be gobsmacking I just know it (as the equation are quite simple FW+tancrede= gobsmack!)

    Keep the great work up friend, I can watch these minis all day

    Re: tancrede's bretonnian log

    There's a lot of things I wish for in this hobby: Solar Macharius back in the IG codex, more xenos love, better dice rolls...and then there's wanting to paint like Tancrede.

    Very well done on the Ostermark troops. I never thought the old plastics could be on par with the new stuff but a simple head swap and stunning paint job sure does the trick! I'm interested in getting a Landship myself...have you put the kit together? If so, how is it?

    Re: tancrede's bretonnian log

    Thanks for comments, guys !

    Those spearmens were difficult to paint, as some details are really bad casted/sculpted. But now, this unit is over and is one of my best infantry unit, so it worths the effort...
    For the landship, you have to wait a little more, as i was painting some old flagellants, given to me by a friend, and some characters (and it's now certain that I really dislike failcast...) :

    So here are the flaggies, still WIP :

    And the witch hunter and bsb of the army :

    Wow! Clearly, it's been to long since I last checked this thread. Those spearmen are amazing! Great job with all the subtle conversion work and awesom painting. The banner in particular and the use of that light blue/turquoise colour as a contrast makes the unit really pop.
    Again, great job!

    Re: tancrede's bretonnian log

    Well, beautiful as always. I noticed that I haven't dropped by in quite a while so I thought it was time. I also try to finish a Bretonnian at the moment and had to think of this thread. The spearmen unit is great. The older spearmen (models I like quite a bit) really go well as rear ranks for the new ones. Good stuff there. Do you use paper for your banners?

    Re: tancrede's bretonnian log

    Just found this log and it was great looking through it all, really nice to see some bretonnia pics.

    I would love it to see some pictures of the whole armies, like you do in the thread of your space marines?
