FW Imperial Armour army lists - tourney legal or not?

im doing a death korps of kreig army and i was wondering will the list in the upcoming IA5 book be tournament legal or will i have to use standard list with doctrines from the imperial guard army book?

EDIT: just to clear it up i mean specifically GW GT (UK)

It depends on the tournament. If they allow the Imperial Armour rules then you'll be able to use the IA list, if they don't then you won't. It's up to each tournament as to what the rules are, so only the organisers will be able to tell you.

That depends on the tournament; you should check ahead.
Playing a miniature wargame for a long time doesn't make you a 'vet'.
Slaying a mammoth with your bare hands, that makes you a 'vet'.

Go here and download what you need, failing that contact the organisers.

starlight, those rules only apply to the UK GW run tournaments. The US and other regions have different rules even in the GW run tournaments, and even then each non-GW run tournament will usually have it's own rules anyway.

Usually they are quite restrictive though if the tournies do allow FW stuff...

most of the time vehicles with structure points are a no go. most of the time you can get away with leman russ variants and thats usually it... but its up to the tourny in question...
Australia is a funny place. You see, our land animals dont run, they hop. Our birds dont fly, they run. And lastly, our swans arnt beautiful and white, no, they are beautiful and black.

Yes, yes they do. And since the OP was specifically asking about the UKGT the rules noted just might be of interest.....
