I definitely would not have put as much consideration into the bases as you have. Then again, I probably would not have built a totally sweet looking ORCA.
I am very excited for the pics of the ORCA

Ok, found some spare time to upload a few pictures.

Now please bear in mind with all of these, that the painting is still WIP, and is by no means finished. There is still a lot to do on it yet, but I probably won't get round to finishing the paint job until nearer the end of this project.
One thing I am not quite sure about is how to detail the black parts. I will probably do them in the same way as for the crisis suits, but the Orca has much larger flat areas and may require a different type of blending...

Anyhoo, on with some pictures. To start with, here are some shots of the side detail:

    Rear back:

    Side Profiles:

    Close-up rear side:

Here you can start to see some of the detailing of the engines. As seen earlier, these were built with plasticard on top of the balsa base. The round engine vents on the side were done with greenstuff (hence why they look a bit 'blobby').

    More to come later!

Unfortunately not. The army is going to be a suit/fw heavy farsight army, so no tanks at all! At some point in the far future, i may expand it to a normal Tau army with Kroot and tanks etc. but not for a couple of years.

Anyhoo, final set of Orca pictures for the moment:

This is amazing, i am a huge follower of the PCRC work (although some of your videos are absolutely nuts but still reletavely funny) and i am shocked by the standard of those stealth suits... they are amazing...

I would like to see a group shot of the finished army if thats possible, these are absolutely outstanding, well done

I was wondering though, is the PCRC attending the Siege of Terra event?

Just took a scan through your log, and I must say I am a big fan of your work!

Your painting is excellent!!! You have managed the best stealth effect I've seen so far. I've seen a few paintjobs where people try to accomplish the active camo effect, and your scheme is the most effective I've seen to date. VERY well done! I wish I had half of your skill!!!!

The Orca has turned out GREAT aswell, even though it's still a pip! Can't wait to see that bad boy finished!!

Keep up the excellent work, I'll be watching for sure.

I’ve been admiring this long for some time. The orca project turned out to be amazing. Also I love how you solved stealth filed on those XV25. So far I think they are the best cloaked suits I’ve seen over the net. Cheers

great looking tau, there, really like the army idea and it's nicely executed. great posing, too, i would look at this log even if it was just that.

great looking orca, hard to believe that it's made out of a block of wood.

Yes, most of us will be there. I'm sticking with Fists, Apologist is currently thinking about Ultramarines, and the others are wavering between a couple of choices. I'm sure there will be paniced log updates over the next few months as we get nearer the time.

Don't be too harsh, the PCRC pecking order is determined by the number of views on your Warseer log, so he's doing Graham a favour.

    Lol!

Indeed I am still working on this army occasionally (as you can see I never finished painting all the crisis suits) but my enthusiasm for it was deflated when 5th ed. came out and basically made it rubbish (due to the lack of scoring units). You can be sure I will post more pics as I finish things (which may be slowly).

As Bob_hunk mentioned, I will be at Seige of Terra with a mix of Fists and Blood Angels, maybe entirely fists if I can get my **** in gear

Ok, i look forward to them, and hopefully another fun filled PCRC video, probably featuring Apologist desperately attempting to finish an army whilst going through several stages of panic mode... actually makes me lol
