They may just decide to keep the current vindi models and say "Hey guys, you can go and convert your own." or repackage the current one with a chaos vehicles sprue

I suppose it does save them developing a new set of sprues...

Do we know if deamon weapons actually add the users base attacks? Someone (maybe Wraithlord) said they don't

Every word I have seen says they do let you keep your origonal attacks, how else does the khorne daemon weapon work out? Any one saying other wise would be idle speculation in my book.

My understanding is that they do. Don't take it as gospel folks, that was just my interpretation of something I was told.

On page one it says "+d6 attacks" regarding daemon weapons, so I think that the rumor at least is pretty clear in its meaning: base attacks+d6 attacks.

This doesnt really pertain that much to the army book per se, but the new terminators look really nice. Theres tonnes of spikes like the rhinos( the long arrow like ones) mostly on their backs, and mutations galore. And theres heads with tusks and everything. Ill try to get a better look next time, it was pretty dark when I saw them.

Kids, losing I5 and gained Double strength is NOT a waste, especially on a character who hits more often than a sergeant with more attacks.

I'm thinking it's your opponents doing it wrong. I'll take a properly kitted Hive Tyrant vs. your commander any day of the week. Implant attack will make short work of him much more often than not.

High I is such an advantage in CC that it'd have to be a very specific situation and matchup for me to willingly drop an IC that can be picked out in combat down to I1. Maybe for Carnifex hunting if I knew I was facing Godzilla 'nids? The Genestealers will eat him alive, of course, but that'd probably happen anyway.

Hehehe My commander and Thunder Hammer Terminators have proved themselves to be exceedingly lucky, thats why i love having them over any other kind of Terminator.

Against Nids, first game the 6 of them took on a Hive Tyrant and 2 units of Genestealers before falling (the commander didnt though)

No, for me i have a love of Powerfists and heavy bolters. Going first may be good, but going last is better for me.

i try to never waste a higher I if i can avoid it, or i take a pw and pf to get the best of both worlds.

now that the codex are giving entires like "you may replace the powerwaepons for a fist ect" i dont think i will have that choice

ive always used the lord/dp as a assault unit, then again ive always played 1k-sons so it was a moot point

If your talking about the pw, pf rules given above, the idea is that the new Codex CSM will follow some of the same restrictions as some recent changes in the Dark Angels codex, for balance and *simplicity*.....

I dislike this idea, considering any champion who has been fighting for 10k years for personal gain is going to have a bit better personal equipment than whats provided by some loyal chapter. the flexibility of a pw/pf im sure is balanced somewhat by the redundant cost of taking both.
Im also a fan of kit-your-own DP's though the desire to kit them out with the same defaults, (aura, mutation, whatever) trivialized it.

The plastics look very nice. Not so sure about the metals though. All of them look morely-ish icky, especially the faces. The raptor lord/champion will look akward next to Alex' perfect ones.
