RIP Slippery Jim DiGriz
Sorry for the repeat question, but for some reason I could have sworn I heard people saying he was and those rumors from the german site said nothing about it.
2 Demon Princes, and they're not that expensive either (even with Flight lets just say he costs the same as a Master of Sanctity Chaplain with a Jump Pack and Terminator Honors, but is so much better).
And you can take multiple squads of Oblits too, all you need now is to cover anti-hoard with lots of shots (or Flamer toating Raptors) and you've got a sick army.
I will have my Revenge.
O wretched man! For with greatest ruin shall fall the building of his life, because he looketh not to the foundation of Death.
So you don't need them for that, they just became much more specialized into taking out Tanks/MC's (Lascannons) or MEQ's. If you need horde control then you can take Noise Marines or Raptors with Flamers.
Well at least IW players will be happy because they can still use their 9 Oblits where as everyone else is going to have to fork over the cash.
I doubt IW will be happy, as they likely had 4 HW slots plus obliterators, and will now likely have more HS choices then they can legally field in an army, even after they drop the basilisk that they can no longer take.
On a side note- cheap terminators sounds like quite fair compensation for most of their minor nerfs, resulting in a fairly nice unit. I'm still angry about the no characters thing, though. That's just stupid. There's really no other word for it.
I,ve looked on the first page and all thru the thread and I can't find an answer to this question:
Can Lords and/or Sorcerers have bikes, like Eldar?
"Daemonettes are like voltron, the more you hook up the better it gets."
"Oh, the things you can buy for a hand full of bills. It makes me excited. It gives me the chills... For a one dollar bill you can pull down their zippers. I am the Snorax, I speak for the strippers!"
I'm thinking of starting a proxy load out list, I figure it might ease some of the pain, which I also stongly feel.
Plas cannons-Don't care too much if they are twinlinked, against a good opponent its just usefull because having 3 plasma cannons running round S+P stops you EVER wanting to Deep strike your termies etc.usefull to stop people doing that.
Unlikely. Space Marine captains can't ride bikes in any of the books, so I doubt you will be able to for Chaos.
I wonder if Termies at under 35 points means termies without weapon options. That seems far too cheap to come with PW/Combi Bolter As Standard.

They certainly can in Codex: Space Marines. Dunno about Dark Angels though.
Okay, I've got a question. I ran that summery on the German site through Babelfish, and it gave Chaos Spawn two special rules;
I'm guessing this means they normally move as Cavelry (I think), and the 'stupid' rule from Codex: EoT has changed so they get Slow and Purposeful for that turn instead of just not moving? Can anyone say if this is correct?- Kavallerie
- slow and purposeful
Do YOU love Orks?
Every time someone says Dark Eldar need to be dropped or turned into Chaos Eldar, a little piece of me dies inside.Originally Posted by biggreengribbly

why is it to cheap , loyalist termies cust just a few points more and have benefit from atsknf as well as beeing able to always deepstrike.
I can see termis being under 35 points, ie, 5 less for loss of powerfist (as compulsory), less ATSKNF, and comi-bolter vs stormbolter, should make chaos termis at least 5 points less than loyalists prior to icons. No its <22 point raptors which seems odd, I assume their 21 points prior marking? this would make sense, although i'm sceptical they still keep their special weapon options... could Drek or someone in the know confirm this?
