    This week I have mostly been painting.....

    THIS WILL BE A LOG OF EVERYTHING I PAINT OVER THE COMING WEEKS, (MONTHS?).
    I HAVE COLLECTED ALL OF THE FANTASY ARMIES. (AMONGST OTHER THINGS).
    I HAVE A LOT OF STUFF..... CURRENT, CLASSIC AND VINTAGE.
    FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER I HAVE NOT PAINTED VERY MUCH OF IT.
    I MEAN TO PUT THAT RIGHT.

    This week I have mostly been painting......Wolves.

    First couple of colours and the last image is my test wolf so you can see what I am heading for.

    Very well painted, very nice indeed. Looks like a simple, speedy and very effective colourscheme.

    Only 60 though? I played an army of 80 direwolves at Carnage North.

    Looking forward to the next update!

    Sooo.... Not much then?

    That looks like batch painting taken to the extreme to me
    Good looking final product; any idea how long the rest could take?

    They do look good. And, I'll have to agree w/ McMullet. Only 60?

    Anyways, how will you base them?

    @Mcmullet
    These are not going to be Dire wolves.
    These are wolves for an all Goblin wolf rider army.
    whe armoured ones are for one, two chariot and one, three wolf chariot.

    @Arhalien
    'Extreem batch painting' is a very quick way of painting. Once you get into the groove after the first few models each stage takes only seconds for each model. There is four stages left on these. I am going to guess three hours. (Max: Four) One or two evenings painting.

    @No-use4a...
    Based to go with my Orcy stuff.
    Course sand mix, dry brushed up through the browns. Bit of static grass dotted about.

    Thankyou all for the encouragement.

    I could probably get two models done in that time!

    White Wolves.

    I have also started painting a few Knights of the White Wolf.

    So far I have Undercoated black and dry brushed in chainmail. Then washed with black and touched up the dry brushing.

    Jesus Harry, you're a busy man!

    Those wolves look great. Are you by chance using the colour scheme from the old Red book of painting? I seem to recall that exact scheme in the section on painting wolves...

    I haven't done batch painting like that since I did my dwarfs and salamanders.

    No offence, but in those pictures, the horses & nights actually look like you've not actually painted them, just the black parts. They might look different up close, but otherwise seems like a bit of a waste.

    Props to you for the work though, my wrist hurts just looking at it.

    You clearly have not seen my paint 3000 points of TK in a weekend article in The Watchman. I don't muck about.

    I don't know which book you mean.
    This scheme came from my bumper book of animals.

    I tend to use porn myself but if looking at minis gets you off...knock yourself out mate. . (Pun intended!)

    I have only done the first couple of stages on the horses. Several to go. Give us a chance.

    Thanks Jedi. Actually I do have 20 more but they are being done in a different colour scheme. (For my hobgoblins).
