Great work mate, Nagash is awesome and it's good to see you back to painting rank and file as well.

Yep, as I thought, rank and files are getting better too ...

You've made some great progress since I last checked your log Harry. Your Nagash looks great, really given that model a new lease of unlife! The base is pure epic win and the accident with the zombie hand really adds to it, he truly is that evilest of evil baddies treating his minions like dirt!
I was particularly impressed by your WIP on the Chaos Ogre though, the flesh tones so far are looking really good and it's a truly epic mini. The moment I saw it I instantly thought of resurrecting my chaos army! Can't wait to see him finished!
Thanks very much.
The Ogre is coming along. I have done some more metals and started on his stripy trousers. I'll get some more pictures up soon.
The start of this years Tale of Painters has got me painting again. (Keeping my enthusiasm going is the tricky bit)
Thanks ... and thanks for remembering the cushion ... I do worry about you.![]()

Meanwhile back to the rank and file. Here are the goblins all finished. bases done with static grass. "Red Blade" Standard done.
They have a cave troll!!!!
(Another accident. This guy was sitting on my painting table from my other thread of vintage models and I realised on a 40 mm base, done exactly the same way as these guys he could fit right in ... and I like him as a unit filler. Also as I had accidentally done 21 goblins rather than 20 he makes them up nicely to a block of 25.)

Harry,
the Nagash model caused my jaw to bruise on the down side. Excellent stuff. Nice conversions of the standard bearer and musician in the 4th ed starter goblins.

This made me realise I have not updated this plog (My log of everything I paint with the most recent additions to my other log "A blast from the past" (where I am working my way very slowly through some of citadels early miniatures). So here are the last few minis I have painted.
So here is a closer look at the Troll.
I have also painted a Ghost.
A Drunk.
and a Couple of Dwarves. (Who still need work!!!)
For more information about these old minis please check out my other log.

I already follow your "oldies" plog, so I knew the troll, but seeing him with the unit seals the deal : truly a great looking unit (much better than my own attempts I might add)
Looking nice. Really find the dwarves with the swords. Unit of goblins look rather nice as well.

Toad looks allright but i would personally want some more shine on it. It looks dry for a slimey aquatic nurgle toad! Or is there gloss on it that does not show in the picture?
That troll kicks ass, great conversion!
Cheers Kaos

Sorry Harry half awake when I posted that. Meant to say I really liked them. Toad looks sweet. Is it just gonna have the plague bearer as it's rider or did you have something interesting in mind? Troll looks nice as well.

I also like Toady, yet the idea to make it more shiny (or slimy?) does seem nice.

Toady looks suitably pustulant - definitely wouldn't fancy picking that up! Looks ace. Nice troll too- love the green skintones. The troll in the gobbo unit is great- excellent unit of the little green fellas- very "pointy".
Great to see you back on a roll painting wise- long may it continue.
My random painting log- 3/3/2013 now painting winter VC- black knights.
