    [Warmaster] Mortal Nurgle Army 1000pts

    Here is my Nurgle force.
Soon to be bolstered by chariots, daemons and beastmen (when we can decide some rules for them).

Decided to finish of painting the odd chaos hero I had lying around.
Also had some milliput so tried my hand at a beast/giant maggot.
I think I may have got the bug as I just spent £50 on materials and tools to give it a better go.

Used superglue gel for the spots

That Maggot looks ace! Your painting style suits Nurgle well and the Nurgle Warriors and Characters look awesome. Some glazing to get a smoother finish on the Dragon Ogres and Ogres might be a good idea, though. Also, I know how hard it is to base Warmaster stuff properly, but still at least some gravel to break up the monotomy of the flock would look good.

That Mortarion is a really cool fit for a Greater Daemon, btw. And I must say that the brownish, murky green that you've found is a perfect choice for Nurgle.
    There (still) is no spork.

    WOW!

Your painting easily beats my painting of my High Elves [2,300pts], Dwarfs [2,400pts] and my beloved Lizardmen [2,600pts].

Damn, if only fellow WarMaster gamers didnt live a continent away...

Splurge! What's really nice about this army is the varied paint scheme throughout the individual units - the chaos warriors all look unique and this gives it heaps of character. Nice one

This is my only chaos force without a 'dragon'.
So after I had finished the tzeentch one, I got to thinking how to do a nurgle based 'dragon'.
Thought about bulking up a zombie dragon but that didn't really appeal.
SO I raided my old bits box and used the wings left over from the tzeentch dragon an old 28mm greater daemon of nurgle, I had bought a set of 40k stealers for another project and one head jumped out as being appropriate also use a pair of arms from the stealers.

Finished off with a greenstuff fat maggot tail.
    Looks truly gross.
