Not really. It's Games Workshop's IP and Black Library are the only licenced publishers of fiction set in that universe. Putting fan fiction online is within reason so long as the acknowledgements of trademark are there and it's not charged for. Putting it on Amazon and charging people to read it is pretty open and shut.
It's not difficult to take the material in this thread and turn it into an eBook which can be distributed, with the copyright notice in place. I believe Revenant could do that if he wanted to, and that would be fine for your purposes.
Where I think we'd both agree the editions on Amazon were bad was, someone's making money out of it (also, Amazon are getting their cut) but there's no sign that any of that money rewarded the author. I'm pretty sure Revenant himself wasn't involved, because he's been published by Black Library himself and knows how it works. So it's a con to everyone.
Dear Game Designer. Rock is cheese. Paper is fine. Regards, Scissors.
So is it still available via Amazon/Kindle? I'd really like to get my hand on an e-book(.PDF) version. If anybody can help me, just pm me.

Hope this thread isn't toast...
Hey Dr.Z, did you ever find anything on RofT? I read book off on amazon and have been starving for more!
It's all in this thread, guys. Stop paying someone to rip off an author who is willing to give the work for free.
